Anti Virus :
Anti-virus servers have been deployed across NICNET in every state and Ministry called the Child Servers. They are all bound to a central console configured in NICNET HQ called the Parent Server. Each Child Server is monitored. Virus can attack a system by opening infected e-mail attachments or downloading infected files.

However, this can be prevented by following certain guidelines like installing antivirus software and ensuring regular updates, using software patches to close security loopholes and installing a firewall to prevent unauthorized access to the network.
