Procedure for setting Debit Card PIN at PNB ATMs/IBS Account using OTP – automaticaly sent at the time of issue of New cards (Vallidity 72 hours) delivered on registered mobile number

Setting of Debit Card PIN through PNB ATM using OTP :
** Please swipe your debit card at any PNB ATM machine.
** Under Banking on language selection screen, GREEN PIN option has been provided for setting the debit card PIN using OTP.

** Select GREEN PIN option, ATM screen will prompt to enter 6 digits OTP delivered on registered mobile number.

** Enter 6 digit OTP and press OK.
** ATM screen will prompt you to enter 4 digits number of your choice as PIN of debit card and press OK.

** Please re-enter the same 4 digits number again for confirmation of PIN.
** If entry of 4 digits number matches in both cases, system will store this as PIN and you will get the confirmation message on ATM screen.

“Thank you, your PIN has been set successfully. Please do not share it with anyone`”

Setting of Debit Card PIN through IBS account using OTP :
** Please login Into your IBS retail account.
** Post login, click on Value Added Services ? Card Related Services 4?Set/Reset DebilCard PIN.

** Select the account number to which card is attached and press Continue

** System will prompt for Card Number Expiry Date(i.e. Month & Year) and 6 digits OTP delivered on your registered mobile number
** Enter above information and click Submit

** After-successful validation of your credentials, IBS screen will prompt you to enter and re-enter 4 digits number of your choice as PIN of debit card.

** If entry of 4 digits number matches in both cases, system will store this as PIN and you will get the confirmation message on IBS Screen

“Thank you, your PIN has been set successfully. Please do not share it with anyone”.

Self – Generation of OTP for setting duplicate debit card PIN :
** Please send SMS DCPIN space CARDNUMBER to 5607040 from registered mobile number for active debit card.

** Immediately on successful validation of your card/mobile credentials, system will send 6 digits OTP on registered mobile number with validity of 72 hours.

** Using this OTP, you can set debit card PIN of your choice through any PNB ATM/IBS account as mentioned above.

FAQs :
If Debit card is lost or misplaced what should I do ?
You should immediately contact our below given no. of call centre to get the card hotlisted / blocked. 1800 180 2222/18001032222 (Toll Free, 0120-2490000 (Paid Number)- Through SMS from registered mobile number to 5607040, Syntax is HOT , Through IBS (POST LOGIN).

Is there any Fee for the issuance of Debit card ?
PNB Debit Card is issued free of cost. However a nominal fee of Rs. 100 per Year will be levied after one year of Card issuance every year

Is there any charge levied for use of the card for Cash withdrawal ?
No charge is levied for use of the card for cash withdrawal at PNB ATMs while Rs. 20/- is levied at other bank sharing ATMs under MITR, NFS, SBI Group, EBL and the ATMs with Maestro/Cirrus Logo upto 31st March 2009 after which it will be free of charge. Balance Enquiry is free at all banks` ATMs.

Can a fresh Debit card issued in lieu of lost/damaged card and what is the amount to be charged ?
Yes. Rs. 100/- for lost card while free of charge for replacement of damaged card.
