Apply For Diplomatic/Official Passport :
e-Form Submission
** Step 1Download the e-Form through the “Download e-Form” link available on the Home Page.
** Step 2Fill the downloaded e-Form and click the Validate and Save button in it.This will generate an XML file, which will be required later for uploading in the system.

** Step 3Register through the Passport Seva Online Portal. (Click on “Register” link under the Apply section on the Home Page).
** Step 4Login to the Passport Seva Online Portal with the registered Login Id.
** Step 5Upload the XML file (generated in Step 2) through the “Upload e-Form” link.Do not upload the PDF form at this stage as only XML file is accepted by the system.
** Step 6Take the printout of filled application form through the “View/Print Submitted Form” link available on the View Saved/Submitted Applications page.
** Step 7Bring printed copy of online filled application form and original documents while visiting the Consular, Passport and Visa (CPV) Division, Patiala House, New Delhi/Passport Office (PO) attached to your present residential address for submitting your application. Refer the instruction page of printed application form for more details.
Online Form Submission :
** Step 1Register through the Passport Seva Online Portal. (Click on “Register” link under the Apply section on the Home Page).
** Step 2Login to the Passport Seva Online Portal with the Login Id created in Step 1.
** Step 3Click “Apply for Diplomatic/Official Passport ” link.
** Step 4Fill in the required details in the form and submit.
** Step 5Take the printout of filled application form through the “View/Print Submitted Form” link available on the View Saved/Submitted Applications page.
** Step 6Bring printed copy of online filled application form and original documents while visiting the Consular, Passport and Visa (CPV) Division, Patiala House, New Delhi/Passport Office (PO) attached to your present residential address for submitting your application. Note: Diplomatic and Official passports are issued to people holding diplomatic status or deputed by the Government of India for official duty abroad.
