Track Call Status :

Citizen can track the status of actionable call registered at UP100 via Phone call/ SMS /Web Chat by providing the AbC Number and mobile number given at the time of registering the actionable call. An OTP will be sent to registered mobile number to verify it.

About UP Police :
General Information With an area of appx. 243,286 Sq.Km. and a population of over 20 Crores apporx (census 2011), Uttar Pradesh has the distinction of being the largest single Police force not only in the country but of the entire world.

The Director General of UP Police commands a force of approx. 2.5 Lacs aprox. personnel spread over 75 districts, 33 armed Battalions and other specialised wings/ branches relating to Intelligence, Investigation, Anti-corruption, Technical, Training, Forensic Science etc.

The present police system in the country was created following the recommendation of the Police Commission headed by Mr. H.M. Court in 1860 which led to the enactment of the Police Act of 1861, which is in force even today.

The same Mr. Court became the first Inspector General of Police of the then North West Province and Avadh which comprised the territory of the present state of Uttar Pradesh.

1. Why should I register details of my locations?
​Up to 5 locations of choice may be registered. You may register locations like My Home, My Parents Home, My Daughter’s School, My Bank, etc. The geographical coordinates of the location will be registered.

When a registered user calls UP100 in case of an emergency, his/her registered locations will be displayed on the police officer’s screen. This will assist us to locate the place of emergency faster to save critical time.

2. Why should I register details of languages known to me?
​This is intended to assist any person who speaks only a language for which a Communication Officer is not available with UP100. You may register languages known to you, and indicate if you are willing to assist others in emergencies as a ‘Language Volunteer’.

You may be providing critical assistance to an individual in emergency by communicating her situation to UP100 officers, who will then provide further assistance.

3. What is a ‘Language Volunteer’?
​This is intended to assist any person who speaks only a language for which a Communication Officer is not available with UP100. You may register languages known to you, and indicate if you are willing to assist others in emergencies as a ‘Language Volunteer’.

You may be providing critical assistance to an individual in emergency by communicating her situation to UP100 officers, who will then provide further assistance.​

4. I have my relatives living in UP. How does it help me?
​If you have close relatives living in UP, you will be able to call UP100 from outside UP, and indicate the location where emergency services are needed. This registration may help in minimizing critical time at the time of responding to emergency.

5. What happens to the information given by me? Will it be kept confidential?
​All personal information given voluntarily will be utilized to provide better policing services for the user and other persons.

6. What is the “Track My Call” on Citizen Portal?
​You may see the action taken on an emergency call made by you to UP 100.

7. What is “Upload Document” on Citizen Portal?
​A video, audio or a document may be uploaded relating to an emergency call made by you. The document shall be forwarded to the concerned police station for appropriate action.
