How To Get E-Aadhaar?

You can now download an electronic version of your Aadhaar. E-Aadhaar is as valid as the original Aadhaar letter and can be downloaded on submitting your Aadhaar or the enrolment ID (found on the Enrolment slip given to you at the time of enrolment).

Procedure to Download e-Aadhaar :
1. Go to https://uidai.gov.in/en/
2. Enter all your personal details as prescribed in the screen shot given above
3. Enter the OTP received to your mobile.
4. Click Validate & Download Button.
5. You will be able to print the aadhaar card .

Procedure :
Step 1 :
** Enter Your Enrollment Number Or Aadhaar Number
** Then Enter Your Full name
** And Enter Your Pin code also
** Now You can type the text as given
** then you can enter your mobile number
** Finaly you get one time password
Step 2 :
** Enter OTP Received
** Then you can download your E-Aadhaar

Steps To Validate Digital Signatures

Computer must be connected to internet whicle validating digital signature.
** Right click on the ‘validity unknown’ icon and click on ‘Validate Signature’.
** You will get the signature validation status window, click on ‘Signature Properties’.
** Click on ‘Show Certificate..’
** Verify that there is a certification path named ‘NIC sub-CA for NIC 2011, National Informatics Center’. This identifies ‘NIC sub-CA for NIC 2011, National Informatics Center’ as the owner of the digital certificate that has been used when signing the document.
** Mark the certification path named ‘NIC sub-CA for NIC 2011, National Informatics Center’, click the ‘Trust’ tab and then ‘Add to Trusted Identities’.
** Answer ‘OK’ to any security question that follows.
** Check(?) the field for ‘Use this certificate as a trusted root’ and click ‘OK’ twice to close this and the next window.
** Click ‘Validate Signature’ to execute the validation.

Aadhaar Enabled Services

a) Aadhaar Iris Authentication
: is a process wherein Aadhaar, along with the resident’s Iris Image is submitted to UIDAI’s Central Identities Data Repository (CIDR) for verification; the CIDR verifies whether the Iris data submitted matches the Iris data available in CIDR, which had been collected during enrolment, and responds with a “yes/no” reply.

b) Aadhaar One Time Pin (OTP) Authentication : The OTP service enables Aadhaar based authentication of all residents who registered a mobile telephone at the time of enrolment or subsequent updation. With Aadhaar OTP, residents will be able to authenticate themselves using their mobile telephone anytime, anywhere on a self service mode without having to use biometric authentication
