HOW TO SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATIONS FOR NEW RATION CARD OR FOR MODIFICATIONS IN EXISTING RATION CARDS
If you have a ration card, register into the website by entering the barcode number, which is on the last page of your ration card.
If you don’t have a ration card, choose No.

Fill up the User details & submit registration form :
** An activation link will be displayed. Click on the ‘Activate Account’ button to activate the account.
** Login to the website using the userid and password that you have entered in the registration form.
** If you don’t have a ration card, three functions will be made available to you (Issue of new ration Card, Non Inclusion Certificate and Non Renewal Certificate)
** If you have a ration card, thirteen functions will be displayed.
** Click on the required function.
** Click on the ‘New Application’ link.
** Fill up the form with correct data.


** Upload all mandatory scanned documents only in pdf format with size less than 250 KB in the application.
** Before submitting the form, verify all the data.
** Take a printout of the application form, which you have submitted, for further proceedings. Note the application number and date.
** You can submit the original documents, application printout and the application fees including the cost of the ration card when you come to the TSO.
** The following information will be displayed once your application has been submitted successfully.

About Kerala Consumer Affairs

Keeping in view the importance and need for promotion of consumer awareness and protection of their rights,Government of Kerala formed a seperate wing in the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer affairs Department in the secretariate to attend to the subject,Consumer Affairs.

This wing works under the Additional Secretary to Government with supporting staff.Accordingly a Consumer Affairs Cell has been formed in the Commissionerate of Civil Supplies also.

The Civil Supplies Department discharges the important responsibilities of Public Distribution enforcement of markets discipline and promotion of consumer awareness and protection of their interests.

The Public Distribution System came into existence in the state with effect from 01/07/1965. The state which has very high deficit in the production of food grains, the PDS has great relevance and importance.

1. My Ration card number is1208027597. This evening, I had been to the Maveli Store (supplyco) at Vayakkal for one kilo Uzhunnu. They asked me to buy non-subsidized items otherwise, they will not give this item. I did not need any other items. I asked them, I will buy those items when I require it, please give Uzhunnu. They refused to give it. Is there any solution for this problem please. Will you please let me know?

2. I am astonished whom civil supplies Kerala authorities entrusted the responsibility to update the required information in new ration card. When I saw my ration card details in computer, I could not see even one line without mistake such as important details as regards to the Name, Date of birth and so on. Irresponsible and negligence.

Error / Problem:
When I enter my Ration Card Number to view details, I asked to type IMAGE in the text, but the image column is always empty and I could not check the details of new ration card being processed. Now the card being processed is in the name of senior lady member in the family. Please advise.
