What is the technical requirement for filing an IEC-
** Internet Explorer10 or above, chrome 6.3.2 or above with JavaScript enabled. Any time you suspect mal functioning of system please clean your browser cache and re-login.

** A valid PAN
** Valid Mobile Number and Email ID.
** Scanned copy of the documents to be uploaded.

Where to Login for filing IEC application-
Go to the website dgft.gov.in and click on the link Online IEC Application, it will ask you to enter PAN, Mobile Number and Email ID. Two different 5 digits token number with the same serial number will be sent to your Mobile number as well as to your Email Id . With the help of these two token numbers you can login to the IEC Master screen.

How can I modify my IEC application-
An application can be modified any number of times till it is submitted for processing. You need to login with same details like PAN, mobile and email again.

How to upload documents in the IEC application-
** Scanned copy (softcopy) of the document is required. Only GIF and PDF file formats are allowed. Files other than these two formats are not allowed and can’t be uploaded.
** Document Name
** File Type
** Photograph, Pan Card and Passport
** GIF
** CSale deed, Bank Certificate, Registration Certificate, Memorandum of understanding, partnership deed and Declaration Document
** Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card and Cancelled Cheque
** GIF/PDF

Do I need to have a digital certificate for submitting an application-
Digital Signature is not mandatory for filing of an application for IEC, however, if application is signed with Digital Certificate, physical application need not be sent to DGFT, RA concerned after it is uploaded online and submitted.

  • For applying new IEC due to proprietor how we enter the director details?
    We are facing the error always when we go next step to fill.

  • IT IS ASKING TO ATTACH ONLY 3 DOCUMENTS AT THE TIME FRESH APPLICATION FOR IEC i.e., BANK CERTIFICATE,PAN,PHOTO OF APPLICANT.
    BUT AFTER ATTACHING THESE DOCUMENTS IF WE GOING TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION IT IS SHOWING AN ERROR LIKE THIS ""ONE OR MORE DIRECTOR DETAILS ARE REQUIRED"
    HOW TO PROCEED FURTHER?? PLEASE GUIDE ME REGARDING THIS.

  • You are requested to use same Mobile no. and Email ID, which you had provided earlier for accessing the system.

    This error shows when I re login by same mob. no. and e mail id. What should I do now?
