** Welcome to the Enrolment Request Portal. UIDAI in partnership with its registrars ( States, UTs, Financial Institutions , CSCs , RGI etc) has opened Permanent Enrolment Centres across the country to enrol left out residents and new born children.

Registrars are also organising enrolment camps in schools , aanganwadis and other locations as per requirement. The list of enrolment centres available in your area has been published on UIDAI web site.

You may click here to locate nearest enrolment centre and directly visit the centre to enrol yourself. You need not register here on this portal.

** In case you don’t find an enrolment centre near you, You can register and submit your request for Aadhaar Enrolment here. At present facility to register enrolment request in available for residents in Haryana, Chandigarh, Goa and Puducherry only.

** In order to register your enrolment request on the portal, you need to fill up the enrolment request form online and complete the verification steps.

** The online enrolment request form can be submitted by the resident or any person on behalf of the resident residing in Haryana, Chandigarh, Goa and Puducherry.

** UIDAI or its authorised registrar or enrolment agency will contact you and guide you to the nearest enrolment center or arrange enrolment camp in your area. You would need to visit the enrolment center/ camp to provide your bio-metrics and complete your enrolment.

** Please note that enrolment request facility provided does not guarantee enrolment and generation of Aadhaar. The enrolment facilities will be provided on based effort basis.

** In case you have enrolled earlier for Aadhaar, you need not register request for enrolment again. Enrolling Multiple times is waste of time as multiple enrolment gets rejected.

FAQs :
Is it necessary to link bank account with Aadhaar?
As per gazette notification of Ministry of Finance, dated 1st June 2017, Individuals are required to provide Aadhaar number for linking all their bank accounts before 31st Dec 2017. For residents not having Aadhaar it is suggested that they get themselves Enroled to get an Aadhaar.

In case, Resident is an NRI/OCI card holder and having bank account in India but Resident doesn’t have Aadhaar. What will happen to his/her Bank account?
For NRIs it is suggested that they disclose their non-resident status with proof to their bank. For the status of account becoming in-operational only the relevant banks shall be able to give response.

Is it necessary to submit Aadhaar in Bank while transaction amount is INR 50,000 or above?
As per gazette notification of Ministry of Finance, dated 1st June 2017, Aadhaar will be sought for all transactions for an amount INR 50,000 or above.

Can we register/ change mobile number online?
For any online update request, including updation of mobile number, resident should already have an active number registered with UIDAI where person can receive OTP SMS and authenticate himself/herself. Otherwise you would need to visit nearest UIDAI permanent Enrolment centre.

Service Provider not accepting e-Aadhaar copy. What to do?
Downloaded Aadhaar or e-Adhaar carries Name, Address, Gender, Photo and Date of Birth details of the Aadhaar holder in similar form as in Printed Aadhaar letter.

The e-Aadhaar also contains date of Aadhaar generation & date of e-Aadhaar download. The downloaded Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar is a digitally signed document by UIDAI as per IT Act, 2000 which provides for legal recognition of electronic records with digital signatures.

Hence Downloaded Aadhaar /e-Aadhaar is a valid and secure electronic document which should be treated at par with printed Aadhaar letter.
