Additional Simplified Procedure

There are two ways to obtain a fancy number in Karnataka

1. Through online auction:
The Parivahan Sewa website holds online auctions for fancy numbers on a regular basis. To participate in an auction, you will need to create an account on the website and register for the auction. Once you have registered, you will be able to bid on the numbers that you are interested in.

The bidding process is as follows:
1. Select the number that you want to bid on.
2. Enter the amount that you are willing to bid.
3. Click the “Bid” button.

If your bid is the highest bid, you will be the winner of the auction. You will then be required to pay the amount of your bid and collect your registration certificate.

2. Through direct allotment:
If you do not want to participate in an auction, you can also apply for a fancy number through direct allotment. To do this, you will need to submit an application to the Regional Transport Office (RTO) with the following documents:

** A copy of your identity proof
** A copy of your address proof
** A copy of your vehicle registration certificate
** A demand draft for the application fee

The RTO will then review your application and, if approved, allot you a fancy number.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:
** The availability of fancy numbers varies depending on the RTO.
** You can check the availability of fancy numbers online on the Parivahan Sewa website.
** The bidding process for fancy numbers is competitive, so you may not always be successful in winning the number that you want.
** The direct allotment process is slower than the auction process, but it is less competitive.
