A new utility has been created to search details of the license of an individual, issued by the transport department
Help Desk at RTO Offices :
In Line with its commitment to Citizen Friendly Services, the Transport Department has enabled Help Desks at all its Transport offices to help the visiting customers with the procedures and correct forms and basic requirements to carry out a transaction at the transport office.
The help desk also reduces the menace of touts and unauthorized persons to exploit the hapless customers. Any customer is welcome to seek the assistance of the help desk.

How To Get A Temporary Authorization To Drive?
Temporary authorisation to drive is issued to the applicant when the holder of a licence has submitted the licence to the Licencing Authority for renewal or for obtaining an authorization to drive a transport vehicle, or when a police officer or any court or any other competent authority has taken temporary possession of a licence for any purpose citizen applies for a temporary authorization to drive.
Requirements for Temporary authorisation to drive :
** The applicant needs to produce evidence/ DL Number
** Form 9
** Form 1A
** Any specific order of the Court or police officer or any competent authority.
How To Get Your Vehicle Temporarily Registered?
Temporary registration of vehicles to be obtained from the Registering Authority, Eseva center or from the Dealer at the time of purchase of the vehicle.
Requirements for Temporary Registration of Vehicle :
** Form-20 (Duly signed by the owner/In duplicate in case of Hire Purchase/ Hypothecation / Lease duly signed by the Owner and Financier)
** Copies of Form-21 and Invoice issued by the Dealer.
** Copy of the Insurance Certificate
** Tax payment receipt.
Note :
The details of Owner like Individual/ Company/ Organisation/ Institution has to be verified and the number of vehicles the Owner possesses to check the details of tax payments to arrive at the different rates of taxes applicable as per Taxation Act and Rules for the payments made at E seva or at the Dealer.
