Petrol Pump/ CNG Station/ LPG Station :
1. For grant of license for storage of Petroleum :
Addl. Commissioner of Police, Licensing is empowered to grant a license to store petroleum in the following categories :
** to store Petroleum Class-A in quantity not exceeding 300 litres.
** to store Petroleum Class-B, in bulk quantity not exceeding 25,000 litres.
(The licensing authority for more than these quantities is the Jt. Chief Controller of Explosives, Faridabad, Haryana.)

Documents required :
The applicant shall make an application on Form-IX Click to Download as provided in the Petroleum Rules, 2002 to the Licensing unit (i.e. Addl. Commissioner of Police, Licensing) along with following documents : –
** Request letter/application of the applicant.
** Land ownership proof/property documents of premises/sale deed/lease deed/allotment deed duly signed by the applicant (6 copies).
** Rent agreement/NOC from land lord, in case of tenant.
** Site plan/Key plan attested by an authorised architect of the proposed site duly verified by the applicant (6 copies).
** A formatted affidavit Click to Download containing general information in respect of applicant on stamp paper of Rs. 10/- along with its necessary enclosures duly attested by the Notary Public and signed by the applicant (6 copies).
** In case the applicant is an employee/representative of any firm/company, an authority letter in favour of the applicant or signing authority/person issued by the firm/company.
** Memorandum of article of the firm/company.

Procedure :-
Application along with required documents can be submitted in the Licensing Unit, on any working day during public dealing hours (9.30 Am to 12.30 Pm).

For issue of No Objection for the grant of license for storage of Petroleum :
(for quantity more than as mentioned at 1. above)
Documents required :
The applicant shall make an application on Form-IX Click to Download as provided in the Petroleum Rules, 2002 to the Addl. Commissioner of Police, Licensing along with the documents as stated at (1) above and a site plan /Key plan of the proposed site duly approved by the Joint Chief controller of Explosives, Faridabad, Haryana.

For issue of No Objection for the grant of license to dispense CNG :
Documents required :
The applicant shall make an application on Form-G Click to Download as provided in the Gas Cylinder Rules, 2004 to the Addl. Commissioner of Police, Licensing along with documents as stated at (1) above and a site plan/ key plan of the proposed site duly approved by the licensing authority i.e. Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur.

Procedure :
Application along with required documents can be submitted in the Licensing Unit, on any working day during public dealing hours (9.30 Am to 12.30 Pm).

For issue of No Objection for the grant of license to dispense LPG :
Documents required :
The applicant shall make an application on Form-I-A Click to Download. as provided in The Static and Mobile Pressure Vessels (Unfired) Rules, 1981 to the Addl. Commissioner of Police, Licensing along with documents as stated at (1) above and a site plan / key plan of the proposed site duly approved by the licensing authority i.e. Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur.

Procedure :
Application along with required documents can be submitted in the Licensing Unit, on any working day during public dealing hours (9.30 Am to 12.30 Pm).

Safety tips :
** The proposed site should not cause risk, danger, damage or annoyance to residents of the locality.
** The area should be free from traffic problems and clear from traffic regulation point of view and also the entrance and exit of the site may be convenient, easy, adequate and satisfactory.
** There should be adequate space for the movement of vehicles inside the proposed petrol pump/oil installation.
** The premises should be safe from fire safety and escape route point of view.
** The accessibility of fire tenders to the site in case of emergency is very essential.
** The premises or shops, as the case may be, for petroleum storage should not be located near any store or shop dealing with any combustible and inflammable material which could endanger public safety at the site of the such petroleum storage.
