ICICI Bank Surat Money Smart City Prepaid Card

Surat Money Card which is an Open Loop Smart Card that enables citizens to access various municipal services (both transit and non-transit) using a single card. Being an open loop card, the card is also useful in retail ecosystem outside SMC.

Surat Money Card is a co-branded card launched by Surat Municipal Corporation and ICICI Bank Limited.

Need for Surat Money Card

Each individuals do multiple payment transactions in retail and government during their routine life. Citizens of Surat interacts with Surat Municipal Corporation in multiple ways. Citizen utilities the City Bus and BRTS transport services, access municipal services like library, swimming pool, public parks, make payment of taxes and utility bills etc.

Digital payments make lives simpler, safer and smarter. Surat Money Card enables access to various services with a tap of single card. This also helps government to reap operational efficiencies from going digital-when providing services, collecting taxes and transit fares.

Card Issuance Process

** An application from is required to be filled up.
** Photocopy of the Photo ID proof like Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, etc.

Card Fees and Top-ups

** Issuance Fees – Without any charges.
** Replacement Fees – 50 for non-personalized and 75 for personalized cards.
** First Top-up – minimum 100.
** Subsequent Top-ups – In multiple of 50 (Like 50, 100, 150 etc.).
** Maximum balance – 10,000.

Discount on Surat Money Card

Discount on Surat Money Card (Only for BRTS and City Bus)

For availing the discount on surat money card on travelling in city and BRT buses, following steps to be follow:
** First, citizen has to obtain Personalized Surat Money Card by submitting the ICICI bank’s form at various outlets (Surat Money Card Outlets).
** After receiving personalized surat money card, citizen has to visit sitilink office at Surat Municipal Corporation (H.Q), Muglisara, Surat for submitting their category based discount application in sitilink form (1.21 MB) with required document as per below table.
** After scrutinizing the discount application, sitilink will provide discount on surat money card.

Note:
For any Non-personalized Surat Money Card and Personalized Surat Money Card other than category shown in above table will get the 10% discount for BRTS and City Bus.
