What is Mirae Asset Tax Saver Fund?

Mirae Asset Tax Saver Fund is an open ended equity linked saving scheme with a statutory lock in of 3 years and tax benefit). Equity Linked Savings Scheme (ELSS) is diversified equity mutual fund schemes which enjoy tax benefits under Section 80C of The Income Tax Act 1961. ELSS Mutual Funds are also known as Tax Saver Funds as investors can claim deduction of up to Rs 150,000 in a financial year from their taxable income by investing in these schemes.
