How To Register For DSS STARS e-Ticketing?

Citizen who wish to avail ticketing service has to register by providing his/her personal details along with correct mobile number. No user is allowed to register more than once with the same mobile number.

Steps:
Step-1 : Go to the above link
Step-2 : Click on the link “New User Sign Up” link for User Registration
Step-3 : Fill the Online Registration Form and
Step-4 : Click On “Register” Button

E-Ticket Booking Time :
E-Ticketing timing for reservation of Ship Tickets is 09:00 am to 04:00 pm IST [ Daily ].

Booking with Valid ID Proof :
All passengers are required to enter a valid ID proof while booking which should be produced at the time of embarkation failing which the passengers are liable for penalty set forth by the Directorate. Read our Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation :
All Tickets booked through STARS E-Ticketing portal should be cancelled through E-Ticketing Portal only, no cancellation facility will be provided at STARS Counters.

Online Enquiry :
Real time Voyage Schedule, Availability, Fare, PNR Status can be accessed through DSS Official Website under “Online Enquiry Service” link.

Terms and Conditions On DSS STARS E-Ticketing

** A registered user can book maximum 5 Passengers [Berths] in a single transaction.
** Maximum of 2 transactions are allowed per day for a registered user. Maximum of 10 Passengers [Berths] can be booked per day.
** A Passenger is required to enter valid ID Proof details while booking ticket through the E-ticketing Portal.
** He/She shall have to carry and show same identity card in original during Embarkation. In case of any discrepancy found, 10x times the Ticket Main Fare will be charged.
** Passengers must report 2 hrs prior to the scheduled sailing. Embarkation gates will close 30 mins prior in Mainland, Inter-Island & Foreshore Sectors.
** Passengers holding concession tickets are required to produce valid concession ID issued by Central / State Government at the time of embarkation.
** General Passengers visiting Nicobar Group of Islands must possess Tribal Pass issued by A&N Administration. Foreign Nationals are not permitted to travel beyond Hut Bay (Little Andaman).
** Passenger must comply with the Port Health/customs and other such statutory regulations before the embarkation. Passenger should adhere to the safety measures covered under ISM code of board.
** The ticket less passengers and passengers travelling in higher class on board shall be dealt with in accordance with Government Of India’s Law and Policy decided by the A&N Administration from time to time.
** In mainland vessels, personal luggage/household goods upto 55 kg or not exceeding 5 Cft for Bunk class passengers and 125 kg or not exceeding 10 Cft for Cabin class passengers is permitted as accompanied baggage.
** The baggage in excess of free baggage allowance or any merchandise goods in commercial quantities shall be charged according to the excess baggage rates in force.
** The excess baggage should be loaded one day prior to the sailing of vessel or the time given by the shipper.
** In Inter-Island bound vessels, free baggage, personal belongings, etc. up to 40 kg for Cabin class, 30 kg for Bunk class and 25 kg for Deck class passengers is allowed.
** Heavy luggage, merchandised and other goods will not be permitted at the time of embarkation.
** Passengers and their baggage should be carried at their own risk and responsibility and the carrier is no way liable for any injury or loss or damage from whatever cause it may be.
** Passengers are not allowed to carry with them articles of explosive, inflammable or otherwise of dangerous in nature.
** Contravention of this rule will make the passenger liable for prosecution. Passenger carrying fire arms and ammunition must hand them over to the ship’s officer immediately on embarkation so that they may be kept in safe custody during the voyage.
