How To Register For Shops & Establishments Act in Jharkhand?
1. Applicants shall be solely liable for correctness and genuineness of information/uploaded documents in the registration form under the Act.

3. Important Documents to be uploaded:
Photo Id of the Owner- Any one of the following documents:
** Aadhaar Card
** Voter ID Card
** Passport
** Pan Card
** Driving License
** Account Passbook
4. Address Proof of the Owner- Any one of the following documents:
** Aadhaar Card
** Ration Card
** Electricity Bill
** Telephone Bill
** LPG Connection Document
** Account Passbook
** Rent/Lease Agreement
5. Address Proof of the Shop/Establishment- Any one of the following documents:
** Electricity Bill
** Telephone Bill
** LPG Connection Document

** Rent/Lease Agreement
6. Scanned copy of challan / ipo must be uploaded (if fee paying via treasury / ipo).
7. During amendment if the maximum number of employees changes positively, registration fee will be taken accordingly in addition to amendment fee.
8. During amendment employer information can be changed only in case of death of current employer (by attaching the death certificate) or in case the establishment is sold by the employer (by attaching the sell deed).
9. No misuse of Act is acceptable. In case of such issue, it will be treated as crime and punishable under law.
10. Jharkhand Labour department reserves the right to cancel the registration if the details found at any subsequent stage appear to be fraud.
11. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and constituted in accordance with the Indian Laws. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jharkhand.
Fee Structure For Registration Under Shops & Establishments Act
Fee For New Registration:

Amendment of Registration under Shops & Establishments Act
Step-1:
** Through Labour Department’s ‘Shramadhan’ Portal www.shramadhan.jharkhand.gov.in
** Login -> Services -> Shops& Establishment Act -> Renewal -> Online Renewal
** Required Items: Mobile Number and Email Id
Step-2:
Applicant has to start filling form and provide

** Basic Information of Shop / Establishment
** Owner / Employer Details
** Employer / Manager / Agent Details
** Employer Details
Online Uploads:
** Shop/Establishment Address Proof
** Employer Address Proof
** Employer ID Proof
** Treasury Fee Challan/ Online Banking fee payment
Step-3:
Application received at respective Receiving Clerk’s login. Application form and attachments are verified and forwarded online to respective Labour Superintendent with remarks or application gets deemed approved within in 1 day.
Step-4 :
Labour Superintendent issues Registration certificate for 10 years or rejects application. If application is not either approved or rejected, then it gets deemed approved within 1 day from the date of submission of complete application along with requisite fee
