How To Apply For GPA in Telangana?
General Power of Attorney (GPA) application in Telangana is now processed through the Bhu Bharati portal (which has replaced the older Dharani portal). This application allows a property owner to grant legal authority to another person to act on their behalf for land-related transactions.
Steps:
To apply for a GPA, follow these steps on the Bhu Bharati Portal
Login:
1) Visit Bhu Bharati (https://bhubharati.telangana.gov.in/) portal and click on the Login button to avail any service.
2) If not registered with Bhu Bharati, click on the Signup to register into the portal (check user registration manual if required).
3) If already registered with Bhu Bharati, login to the portal by entering the mobile number, password, captcha, and click on the Get OTP button.
4) OTP has been successfully sent to the registered mobile number. Click on the OK button.
5) Enter OTP and click on the Validate OTP button.
6) OTP has been verified successfully. Click on the OTP button.
7) Citizen Dashboard is now open for using any service.
Application For GPA:
1) To avail the Application for GPA service, hover over Miscellaneous and click on it.
2) Choose Application for GPA/SPA/Executed GPA.
3) You can check all the citizen side flows involved in the application and click on the Proceed button to move further into the application.
4) Select the request type and Yes/No radio button for Do you have already registered GPA in card? Click on the Proceed button. When Yes is selected, the details in the image shown below need to be added and click on the Fetch button.
5) Here, No has been selected and clicked on the Proceed button.
6) Enter Passbook number and click on the Fetch button.
7) The property details populate. Select the checkbox corresponding to the extent of land. Enter the extent of land for which GPA transaction is to be allowed. Click on the Proceed button.
8) A pop-up appears asking for confirmation to proceed. Click on the OK button.
9) Enter Personal, Communication Details and click on the Continue button.
10) Add GPA Holder’s Details, Communication details, and click on the Submit button.
11) Application is successfully submitted and pending at Mee Seva for ekyc process.
12) In the step 4 when Yes radio button has been selected for Do you have already registered GPA in card? And have entered details, after successful submission of the application, it will be submitted to the Tahsildar.
Required Information For GPA
Ensure you have the following details ready for the online form:
** Owner Details: Name, father/husband’s name, age, gender, occupation, and Aadhaar number.
** GPA Holder Details: Name, Aadhaar number, and the intended validity period of the power.
** Land Details: District, Mandal, Village, Survey Number, and Khata Number.
** Documents: A scanned copy of the Pattadar Passbook and details of the registered deed (if already executed before the portal launch).
