How To Apply For Real Estate Agent Registration in Maharashtra?
Registration of real estate agent is completely online process in MahaRERA.
Refer the key information given below to apply for registration of real estate agent:-
** Create agent account on the MahaRERA portal.
** Login into registered account and provide information in various section of the agent registration form.
** Upload mandatory documents.
** Accept the declaration and proceed for the online Payment using preferred method of payment.
** After successful payment, application number will be generated which can be used to track status of scrutiny.
** To expedite the approval process, keep track of your application and adhere to the scrutiny comments.
** After approval of authority certificate of registration and registration number will be generated. Certificate can be downloaded by login into Real Estate Agent’s account.
Real estate agents can submit a request for correction of their digitally signed registration certificate through the MahaRERA portal by paying the necessary fees. For Real Estate Agents the details of fields that can be requested to MahaRERA for revision/correction, are detailed in Annexure ‘B’ under (MahaRERA circular no. 08/2017)

Submission of Half-Vearly Reports By MahaRERA Registered Real Estate Agents
** Whereas, Govemment of India has enacted the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act2016 (the Act) and all sections of the Act have come into force with effect Irom 01.05.2017.
** And whereas, one oJ the key objectives of the Act, is to ensute sale of plot, apartment unit oi building, as the case may be, or sale of real estate project, in an efficient and transparent manner.
** And whereas, the Authoity has notified the N4aharashh-a Real Estate Regulatory Authority (General) Regulations, 2017 (the Regulations) to carry out the purposes of the Act.
** And whereas, the Authority under Section 37 of the Act and Regulation 38 of the Reguiations is vested with the powers to issue djrections to the promotets,real estate agents and allottees from time to time as it may consider necessary
** And whereas, Chairpersory MahaRERA is vested with the powers of general superintendence and directions in the conduct of the a{fairs of MahaRERA under Section 25 of the Act.
** And u,hereas, under Section 34 of the Act, one of the functions of the Authority is to register and regulate real estate projects and real estate agents registered under the Act.
** And whereas, Sertion 9 of the Act, mandates every real estate agent to be registered with MahaRERA be(ore facilitating the sale or purchase of or act on behalf of any person to facilitate the sale or purchase of any plot, apartment, unit or building as the case may be in a real estate project or part of it being sold by a promoter.
