SSUP UIDAI Update Aadhaar Data

You can update aadhaar data either online or offline. Use the following guidelines to update aadhaar data online.

Go to UIDAI home page. Click Enrollment & update tab. In that click Aadhaar data update.

** Welcome to Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal SSUP. UIDAI is committed to provide resident friendly eco-system and self service update portal is one of the various touch points to update their profile in 3 easy steps : STEP 1: Login with Aadhaar, STEP 2: Upload Documnets and STEP 3: Select BPO Service Provide and submit request.
** Note that Update here refers to any changes as well as corrections, if required, in resident´s original Aadhaar letter.
** Any resident with a mobile number can update their profile using this portal. Mobile number is mandatory to receive password for login.

Documents Required To Update Aadhaar Data

Following documents are required to update Aadhaar data,

** Residents are required to upload a self signed (self attested) copy of relevant documents for update/ correction. Please click here for the valid list of documents.
** Resident information be Updated immediately after submission of request

Submission of Information

** for update does not guarantee update of Aadhaar data.
**The information submitted is subject to verification and validation.

Instruction :
1. You must have registered mobile number to update any of the above information in your Aadhaar using this update portal.
Note : Registered mobile number is the number provided at the time of enrolment or updated subsequently

2. If you have registered mobile number with Aadhaar, enter your Aadhaar Number to get an OTP (One Time Pin) at that mobile. If you have not registered your mobile with Aadhaar or you have lost/do not possess anymore, you will have to visit nearest Update Centre.

3. Enter OTP and Captcha to login to the Update Portal.
4. Select the information you want to be updated /corrected. You can select more than one information to update in Aadhaar.

5. Fill the fields with the details to be updated in English as well as in Local Language.
a. If you are correcting your Name. Write full name without salutations/titles. For example do not write Dr. /Mr. /Col. etc

b. If you are correcting Date of Birth. Fill in Date of Birth in DDMMYYYY format. You can update Date of Birth from Declared to Verified only once. In case your Verified Date of Birth is incorrect in the Aadhaar letter, you can get it corrected only once.

c. If you are correcting Address. Write complete address. The Aadhaar letter with updated address will be delivered at the given address only.
** In case you face any issues with the Pin Code and related data (State/District/Village/Town/City/Post office), contact UIDAI contact centre at help [AT] uidai.gov.in.

** To include Guardian/ Parent/Spouse Name as part of the address, select the Address correction option. Then select appropriate box in C/o details and enter the name of the person in the subsequent field. C/o details can be updated as a part of Address update.

It is not mandatory to provide C/O details while correcting you address in Aadhaar
** You are required to fill the complete address and upload supporting PoA even if you want to update/correct only C/o details. It is ok if C/o details are not mentioned in your PoA document.

6. Depending on the information to be updated, upload original scanned (with color scanner) copies of supporting documents as per the Valid Documents List. Refer Link for valid documents.

a. Name Correction/Update : Requires PoI listed in “Supported Proof of Identity(PoI) Documents Containing Name and Photo for Name Corrections/Update”
b. Date of Birth Correction : Requires DoB listed in “Supported Proof of Date of Birth (DoB) Documents”

c. Address Corrections/Change : Requires PoA listed in “Supported Proof of Address (PoA) Documents Containing Name and Address”
d. Email ID,Mobile and Gender Change : No documents Required to be submitted for Mobile and Gender correction.

1. My date of Birth in my Aadhaar Card is wrong. My addhar card number is no 908950784318. As such I am unable to link with my PAN number, I want to correct it immediately. What can I do?
You can correct your date of birth by following the below mentioned procedure :
** To start the process,Enter your Aadhaar number
** Then Text Verification Required
** You will receive One Time Password (OTP) on your mobile number.
** Then you can process next stage
** finally you can update or correct your data on adhaar card.

3. My address is not correct on aadhaar card. How can I change it. What is the procedure for changing it?
You are required to update online for correction.

4. My mob no is not registered. How to get OTP?
If you have declared a mobile number at the time of enrolment, enter your Aadhaar Number to get an OTP (One Time Pin) at that mobile. If you have not declared your mobile at the time of enrolment, then enter your Aadhaar number.

You will be asked to provide a mobile number to receive OTP. In case you have lost/do not possess anymore, the mobile, that you declared at the time of enrolment, you will have to either visit nearest Update Centre or send your Update request through Post.

Mobile Number against my dependent wife and two children had already been mentioned by me in the Aadhaar Card form but after preparation of their Aadhaar card, the same is not being shown. Additional Simplified Procedure

There are two ways to update your Aadhaar data: online and offline.

Online:
1) Go to the UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in/.
2) Click on the “My Aadhaar” tab.
3) Click on the “Update Aadhaar” link.
4) Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha.
5) Click on the “Proceed” button.
6) Select the details you want to update.
7) Upload the required documents.
8) Click on the “Submit” button.

Offline:
1) Visit a nearby Aadhaar Enrolment/Update Centre.
2) Fill out the Aadhaar Update Form.
3) Submit the required documents.
4) The Aadhaar Enrolment/Update Officer will update your data.
