Eligibility

Scheme-I:
1. The bride should have studied 10th Std. (passed or failed)
2. If studied in Private / Distance Education, bride should have passed 10th Std.
3. Bride should have studied up to V Std in case of Scheduled Tribe

Scheme-II:
1. Degree holders from regular colleges, Distance Education / Government recognized Open University are eligible.
2. Diploma holders should have qualified from the Institution recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.

General:
1. Not exceeding Rs.72,000/- per annum for the family.
2. Assistance will be given to one girl only in a family.
3. Bride should have completed 18 years of age at the time of marriage. There is no upper age limit.
4. Within 40 days before the date of marriage. Only in exceptional circumstances, the applications can be accepted one day prior to the marriage.
