Enter your Application Number To Check the AB/VTP Application Status

Objective :
** To provide vocational training to school leavers, existing workers, ITI graduates, etc. to improve their employability by optimally utilizing the infrastructure available in Govt., private institutions and the Industry. Existing skills of the persons can also be tested and certified under this scheme.
** To build capacity in the area of development of competency standards, course curricula, learning material and assessment standards in the country.

Key Features of the Scheme

** Demand driven short term training courses based on Modular Employable Skills (MES) decided in consultation with Industry. MES is the ‘minimum skills set’ which is sufficient for gainful employment.
** Central government facilitates and promote training while industry, private sector and State Governments provide training to the persons.
** Optimum utilisation of existing infrastructure to make training cost effective.
** Flexible delivery mechanism (part time, weekends, full time, onsite/ offsite) to suit needs of various target groups.
** Different levels of programmes (Foundation level as well as skill upgradation) to meet demands of various target groups.
** The services of existing or retired faculty or guest faculty are being utilized.
** Courses are available for persons having completed 5th standard.
** Testing & certification of skills acquired informally.
** testing of skills of trainees by independent assessing bodies, which would not be involved in training delivery, to ensure that it is done impartially.
** The essence of the scheme is in the certification that will be nationally and internationally recognized.

Public Private Partnership (PPP)

** Forecasting of emerging areas of employment at micro level.
** Development of course curricula of various trades.
** Development of instructional material for training.
** Assist in the training of trainers, wherever required.
** Making available their training & testing facilities, wherever required.
** Provide on the job training in their establishments.
** Development of assessment standards.
** Monitoring and Quality assurance.
** Assistance in placement of graduates.
** Provide trade experts to work as assessors of competencies.
** Voluntary donation of equipment to the ITIs/other training institutions.
** Providing guest faculty in new trades.

** Workers and ITI graduates seeking skill up gradation
** Early school drop-outs and unemployed
** Previously child labour and their families

Some Important Information From Comments

Comments:
1. We are from Andhra Pradesh, India. We have registered as VTP. But, after march you do not give the permissions even to single batch to any institution and this project is stopped till date in Andhra Pradesh. Now, I want to know when will you start this project? For every month we are baring lot of expensive from my side, from March to August we are pouring money on this project. Please give the clarification as when will you start the project?

2. I have submitted registration form for a VTP online in the portal but, I have not received any acknowledgement nor I have received any user ID (or) Password. Please confirm, how would I know my registration as a VTP.

Additional Simplified Procedure

To check the status of your Skill Development Initiative Scheme (SDIS) application online, you can follow these steps:
1. Go to the SDIS website: https://sdis.gov.in/.
2. Click on the “Track Application Status” link.
3. Enter your application number.
4. Enter your mobile number or Aadhaar number.
5. Click on the “Submit” button.

You will then be able to see the status of your application. The status of your application may be one of the following:
** Pending: Your application is still pending and has not yet been processed.
** Approved: Your application has been approved and you will be contacted soon.
** Rejected: Your application has been rejected and you will not be eligible for the scheme.

If your application is pending, you can check the status of your application again after a few days. If your application is approved, you will be contacted soon with further details.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when checking the status of your SDIS application online:
** You must use the application number that was provided to you when you applied for the scheme.
** If you do not know your application number, you can contact the SDIS helpdesk at 1800-11-2232.
** The status of your application may take a few days to update online.
