Can a PPO be transferred from one state to another?:
Yes, the pensioner who wants his pension transferred from one state to another, shall make a written request to concerned Treasury from where he is presently drawing pension. The Treasury Officer shall obtain the pensioner’s half from the pensioner and also recall the disburser’s half of the PPO from the Bank. The treasury officer shall forward both the halves of the PPO to the Office of AGMP.AGMP shall in turn forward it to the A.G of the concerned state who shall then forward the PPO to the concerned Treasury as per their procedure.

What is the period of restoration of commutation of pension?:
15 years from the date of retirement or 75 years of age whichever is later.

1/3rd of the basic pension.

How the family pension starts after the death of pensioner?:
After the death of the pensioner, the member of the family entitled for family pension has to approach the treasury with the death certificate of the pensioner and an individual Bank Account. One BTB contains 100 pages. Each page, which bears a unique number, is called a token.
How many bills can be submitted on one token of a BTB?:
Only one bill can be presented on one token of a BTB.

What is the cost of BTB ? How it can be obtained ?:
The cost of a BTB is Rs.25. It can be obtained by any DDO by depositing Rs. 25 through challan in the following Head of Account

  1. I have served in tribal welfare department of MP govt. for fourteen years six months and twenty one days as pti from 09/10/1976 to 1/5/1991.
    On deputation I joined Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and get absorbed through technical resignation on 1/5/1991. I retired from nvs after attaining sixty years of age.
    There is no provision for pension in nvs.
    Am I eligible for pro reta pension from state govt?
