Check Aadhaar status on SMS :
** Send SMS as “UID STATUS <14 digit Enrolment number>” to 51969 ex. “UID STATUS 12345678901234” to know the status of your Aadhaar enrolment. If you send this SMS from your registered mobile number then you will get back your Aadhaar number, if generated.

** Send SMS as “UID GETUID <14 digit Enrolment number>” to 51969 to know your Aadhaar number from your registered mobile number.
Note :
Please note that if you are prompted to enter 28 digit EID then send SMS as “UID STATUS or GETUID <28 digit EID as 14 digit Enr No +ddmmyyyyhhmmss>”
Aadhaar :
Aadhaar is a 12-digit individual identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India on behalf of the Government of India.This number will serve as a proof of identity, anywhere in India. Any individual, irrespective of age and gender, who is a resident in India and satisfies the verification process laid down by the UIDAI can enrol for Aadhaar.
Facts about Aadhaar enrolment in Kerala :
IT Department, Government of Kerala is the registrar for UID enrolment in Kerala. Kerala State IT Mission is the nodal agency in Kerala appointed by the Government of Kerala for UID enrolment. Akshaya and Keltron are the two enrolment agencies appointed by KSITM for UID enrolment. There are about 700 enrolment stations and enrolling machines (for both Akshaya and Keltron) spread over Kerala.
