For Issuing Duplicate Educational Certificates:
Government, Governrnent Aided, Autonomous and Self Financing Engineering Colleges in the Flood affected Districts of CHENNAI, TIRUVALLUR, KANCHIPURAM AND CUDDALORE – Loss or Damage of Certificates due to floods – Conduct of special camps to receive applications from affected students – Issue of Duplicate Educational Certificates (Degree, Provisional, Consolidated Mark Sheets/ Grade Sheets, Mark Sheets/ Grade Sheets)
Application Fee : Free of cost & No Charges
As part of the flood relief measures, the Government of Tamil Nadu vide G.O. cited above, has issued orders to conduct special camps (to receive applications frorn students for Issue of Duplicate Educational Certificates (Degree, Provisional, Consolidated Mark Sheets/ Grade Sheets, Mark Sheets/ Grade Sheets)) in the flood affected districts of CHENNAI, TIRUVALLUR, KANCHIPURAM and CUDDALORE from 14-12-2015 for a period of two weeks.
Hence the Principals of all Government, Governrnent Aided, Autonomous and Self Financing Engineering Colleges in the Flood affected Districts of CHENNAI, TIRUVALLUR, KANCHIPURAM AND CUDDALORE are requested to conduct special camps to reach out to the affected students and receive applications for issue of Duplicate certificates in lieu of loss or damaged ones.
Application Procedure :
This will be done free of cost and no charges shall be collected from students. Sample application form to be issued to students is enclosed herewith.
Filled original application to be sent to the office of the COE/One copy of the filled application must be given to student as acknowledgement/ One copy must be retained at the Institution itself.
New certificates of the received applications will be printed at office of the COE and sent to respective colleges within one week from the receipt of application. The Principals are requested to strictly adhere to the above and extend their full cooperation so as to execute the task on time.

Anna University was established on 4th September, 1978 as a unitary type of University. This University was named after Late Dr.C.N.Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. 1. I am graduated form Karur. I have lost my certificate in Chennai flood. What is the procedure to get lost certificate? Whether I need to go to Anna University, Chennai directly and apply (or) have to get any acknowledgement from any government body that, I have lost my certificate.
2. If I give the application to my college principal itself, will they follow up and get my certificates back (or) I have to go in person to Chennai University Campus to give the form?
I completed my UG degree from Mepco schlenk Engg college (Sivakasi). My degree certificate is damaged during the recent floods. When I checked the application pdf, there is a column for institution seal . Do I need to apply through my college only ? or can I send the filled application directly to the COE, anna university?
I guess only through your institution you can send the application form.
