What is e-Pragati?

CM To make administration more efficient and responsive, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu instructed the state administrative machinery to implement Real Time Governance (RTG) in full fledged manner.

In a review meeting on RTG with RTG committee members and IT Advisor the CM said he would review the progress of implementation on every Wednesday.

As a precursor he directed the officials to plan a platform that will bring all the departments under e-pragati. He instructed the officials to complete all the 72 projects taken up under e-pragati at the earliest.

An advisory council on the same would be set up soon, said the CM. He added that introduction of RTG has started to show better results in Medical Health and Family welfare department, NREGA and other schemes. We must try to reach the levels of Canada, South Korea, and Singapore which have implemented RTG successfully.

The CM suggested to set up RTG committee to coordinate with various departments for the introduction of RTG.

To bring in fresh and innovative ideas students must be made a part of e-pragati, added the CM. DG of Police, IT Secretary and RTG committee members took part in the review.
