How To Do MSDC Registration?

MSDC Online registration facility was started on 01st January 2018 for Fresh Graduates. You can also apply offline by downloading the application form from the website.

How To Do MSDC Renewal?

The names of the Dentists, who fail to renew their registration between 1st January to 31st March every year as mentioned below, shall stand removed from the register. However the names of such Dental Practitioners can be re-entered in the register, if he/she pays prescribed renewal fees, together with a Restoration name fee of Rs. 100/- there of, as provided in the Dentists Act, 1948.

About us:

The state of Maharashtra has been initiating several health initiatives to improve the health of its people consistent with the national objective of universal health coverage. Oral health is an important component of overall health and lack of awareness and accessibility are major factors that make people neglect oral health. The government is seized of this problem and has been associating with dental institutions in the state to create awareness and initiate preventive programmes.

There are quite a few dental colleges in the state and dental professionals have been taking care of oral health at the district hospitals. Additionally, jointly with Maharashtra State Dental Council, the State Health Ministry has been attempting to improve the deployment of dental healthcare service providers on the basis of the system developed by the Indian Dental Association to correct the dentist population ratio for better delivery of services.

1. In my profile, in the qualification column the name of the college mentioned is wrong. It is mentioned that DAV Centenary college. But, my college name is GOVERNMENT DENTAL COLLEGE AURANGABAD. Even the passing year is not mentioned. And moreover the column is not able to edit for correction. So please help in this matter.

2. I practice Dentistry in U.S.A. for more than 26 years. But, I have graduated from Mumbai University in 1982 & have kept my License active for about 8 years in Mumbai. But as for now, its not active in Mumbai. What is the procedure, if I want to keep my License active in Mumbai also?

3. I have taken NOC from Maharashtra dental council in January. Since, then I could not get registered in other state dental council due to some health issue. Now I have to get new NOC. Can you please guide me, what should I do. Is there any online procedure (or) if I can ask any of my collegue to get it done for me by visiting GDC as I have to travel alone?

4. I wanted to enroll and have the registration number from the state and central dental council since ,I have graduated in the stream but to my surprise under the download section of the website no registration forms are provided for the new entrant in the field. Please do the needful so that the stipulated forms are downloaded and filled in and submitted along with the required fees and documents.

The web portal you have developed is far below standards, pathetic and difficult to use. The Dental practitioner accounts are not opening, if tried through forgot password its not validating the OTP which is sent by the system itself. Its very difficult to get through, somehow even one gets through and does the payment there is difficulty in getting receipts. Many practitioners are spread all over the state and its difficult to physically come and do the renewals and that’s the purpose of being online. Please don’t bring shame to the state and Dental Council by still continuing with the same web site despite of so many complains.

2) Click on the “Registration” tab.
3) Click on the “Dentist” link.
4) Enter your personal details, such as your name, date of birth, and address.
5) Upload a scanned copy of your ID proof and address proof.
6) Pay the registration fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) by Cash / Demand Draft / Pay Order in the name of Registrar Maharashtra State Dental Council, payable in Mumbai preferably drawn on any Nationalized Bank.
7) Click on the “Submit” button.

1) A valid ID proof, such as a passport, driver’s license, or voter ID card.
2) A valid address proof, such as a utility bill, bank statement, or rent agreement.
3) A recent passport-size photograph.

  • I have remitted the Renewal of registration fees Rs.200 by DD on 23rd January 2018. My registration number is A9999 for BDS. I want receipt for the same. What is the procedure?

      Please go to msdcmumbai.org.in/ClientWebsite/9/index.html?dci=
      Click on LOGIN
      Enter your Registration Number as your USER ID (For Eg. A-1001)
      Enter Password. In case you are not registered, then click on Forget Password link below. In the POP UP box please enter your Full name, Registration No, Email Id and Mobile no. Then click Submit. You'll receive a password in Email/Mobile.
      Now again go to LOGIN page and enter your USER ID and PASSWORD.
      Post Login, Menu will appear in the next screen on your left. Please click DENTIST PROFILE and in the sub menu click on RENEW REGISTRATION.
      Now you can renew the registration through Credit Card/Net Banking options.
