How To Do Assam Nursing Council Registration?

After qualifying the respective nursing program by the Nurse’, Midwives’, Auxiliary Nurse Midwives’ and Health Visitors have to register their name in the State Register as maintained by the council by paying prescribed fee to obtain Primary Registration to use exclusive title of Registered Nurse, Registered Midwives, Registered Auxiliary Nurses’ Midwives’ and Registered Health Visitors’.

Verification :
Verification of the documents are done as per Register maintained in the Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council for the purpose of candidates those who are seeking for employment or registration in other States.

Types of Inspection done by the Council :
1. First Inspection- for approval of the proposed Course/ program applied for.
2. Annual Inspection- for yearly validation/ renewal of the existing course.
3. Re-inspection- for seat enhancement etc
4. Sudden inspection- as desired for when necessary

Documents Required For Assam Nursing Council Registration

Documents required for Additional Registration at Assam Nursing Council to be submitted are as follows:

Check List:
** Passport Size photo 3 Nos. (preferably) light background with proper uniform.
** HSLC admit Card (Xerox/photo-copy).
** Diploma Certificate (Xerox/photo-copy).
** Registration Certificate (Xerox/photo-copy).
** Additional qualification i.e. PB.BSc./M.Sc./Ph.D/DPN etc. whichever is applicable (Xerox/photo-copy)
** Identity proof with Address. i.e. Govt.I Card/Voter ID/Bank Passbook/Passport etc. whichever is applicable (Xerox/photo-copy).
** Demand Draft with requisite fees as mention in the application fees.

Instruction For The Applicants

1.Application form will be accepted only when it is enclosed with attested true copy of:
** Diploma/Degree Certificate of B.Sc. Nurses /ANM/GNM.
** B.Sc. Nurse/G.N.M/A.N.M registration certificate.
** Passport size photo with proper uniform duly attested and submit 2 copies without attested with standard size i.e. 3X4 cm2.
** H.S.L.C. Admit Card.
** Identity Card with proper home address. (Office I-Card with validity/Voter ID/DL/Aadhar Card/Indian Passport/Bank passbook etc..needed anyone of it)
** CNE Certificate/ Attended Seminar/ Conference/Scientific Paper Presentation/Publication /Training are to be enclosed if any forcredit points.

2.Application form, completed in all respects, should be sent to the Registrar, Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council, Six Mile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 along with registration fee of ` 200/-

3.Payment should be made through demand draft in favour of ” Registrar, Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council” payableat “Guwahati” in any Nationalised Bank of India and its is mandatory to write “Name, Address, Phone No and E-mail ID ” on the back side of the Bank draft.

4.The Certificates are to be received only by the applicant.

N.B:-Original Registration Certificate is required for Renewal Validation and date for next renewal.

Additional Simplified Procedure

Assam Nursing Council (ANC) is the statutory body that registers and regulates the practice of nursing in the state of Assam.

To register with the ANC, you must follow these steps:
1. Go to the ANC website: https://www.assamnursingcouncil.com/.
2. Click on the “Registration” link.
3. Select the “Nurses” option.
4. Fill out the registration form.
** You will need to provide your personal details, such as your name, date of birth, address, and contact information.
** You will also need to provide your educational qualifications, such as your nursing degree and registration number.
5. Upload scanned copies of your supporting documents, such as your passport, Aadhaar card, and educational certificates.
6. Pay the registration fee online.
7. Click on the “Submit” button.

Your application will be processed and you will be notified of the status of your application through SMS.
