Journalist Card Status:
Working and retired journalists can check the status of health card in home page by using the health card status tab on website jhs.telangana.gov.in.

1. Go to the website JHS Telangana
2. Click on the Journalist Card Status tab
3. Enter the Journalist ID & Search.
JHS:
Journalists Health Scheme was launched on 8th January, 2016 vide G.O.Ms. No.64 HM & FW (A.2) Dept., Dt: 27.07.2015.It is intended to provide cashless treatment to all the working and retired journalist. The beneficiaries can avail cashless treatment for the empanelled specialties in all the Network Hospitals for all the listed therapies.

What is the working and retired journalist’s subscription under the Scheme?:
There is no subscription under the scheme for the working and retired journalist’s.
From where the Health Card will be issued to the working and retired journalists?:
Health Card will be generated by the AHCT after approval by I&PR department and placed in the Login of the working and retired journalists. The working and retired journalists can login to the portal (jhs.telangana.gov.in) by using their “User ID” and “Password”, download the Health Card, Print it and use it for availing treatment in the Network Hospitals under Journalists Health Scheme.
Is unemployed daughter, if not married, eligible under the scheme?:
Yes. Unemployed daughters who are unmarried or widowed or divorced or deserted are eligible. Once she is married she becomes ineligible.
Who is competent to delete name of “son” who has crossed the age of 25 years?:
The date of birth of “son” furnished by the working and retired journalists is available in the System. As such, the system automatically renders the “Son” who crosses 25 years, ineligible under the Scheme and invalidates his Health Card.
Can the working and retired journalist’s edit the details on his health card?:
No. The Journalist cannot edit the details like name of the Journalist; date of birth, designation, department on his health card, as the details of all theJournalist are received from Information & Public Relations Department Concerned.However, Change of fields like name, designation, etc., if any to be changed, the Journalist shall submit details through DPRO to the email : jhs@aarogyasri.gov.in
I forgot my password. How to reset new Password?:
After clicking on Sign-in button on home page, then enter the user Id , click on ‘forgot password’. The system generated password will be sent to the applicant’s mobile number and e-mail id.
My mobile number has been incorrectly entered at the time of changing password. What shall I do?:
In such a case, the individual has to lodge a complaint through Email provided in the portal, jhs.telangana.gov.in, by furnishing the details of user ID, Name, correct mobile number for taking suitable action.
When I wanted to log in with the given user ID and password, the alert message shows as ‘Invalid User ID or Password’. What should I do?:
There won’t be an invalid user ID and password. Enter the correct 8 digits password which has been received through SMS on registered mobile as well as through email. Password will be Numerals only ( ForEx-12345678).
