Online Fee Payment :

Manipal University Students can make Online payment of all fee related to the academic activities.  Students/ Parents can register on the Student Portal for the Online payment of these fees.

Once registered, the students/parents can pay the Course fee (General Category only) / Examination/ Re-registration/ Casual/ Internal improvement/ Certificate/ Transcript fee, online. The receipt of the same will be generated online and sent to the registered mail-id of the student/ parent.

Student Information System(SIS) has been conceived to meet the information needs of the students/parents of the Manipal University. Only bonafide students/parents of Manipal University are eligible to use the services offered here. Please login to SIS portal, click on the link ‘Fee Kart’ and pay your academic fee online.

Is the mess fee included in the hostel fees?
No, the mess charges will be collected annually along with hostel facilities fees and utility charges.

Are the hostel charges included in the tuition fee?
No, the hostel fee is mentioned separately.

Will I get hostel accommodation at the time of admission?
MU is a residential institute and all students who are admitted are accommodated in hostels. You can find out more about our hostel accommodation

I am unable to travel for my counselling. What do I do?
No problem, we understand there might be extenuating circumstances that prevent your travel. Your admission formalities can be done by an authorized representative carrying proper authorization documents, like your parents or even a friend.

Please remember, fees and original documents are required for completing admission formalities.

I am a first-year student. Is it compulsory for me to avail of the hostel accommodation?
We think it is a good idea for first year students to stay in the student hostels – it helps them bond together, and that in turn, improves their experience of the MU life.

So yes, it is compulsory for a first-year student to live in a hostel. In exceptional cases, however, permission may be granted by the Dean or Director to stay out of the hostel.
