TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR Gift CARD
** These terms and conditions apply to and regulate the issuance and usage of Gift Card(s) offered by Andhra Bank.
** These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) shall be in addition to any other terms as stipulated by Andhra Bank from time to time and such modified version will be displayed in our Website “andhrabank.in” and Andhra Bank need not give a separate notice.

** The ultimate cardholder is agreeing for these modifications displayed in the website.
** Applicant shall mean an individual or an organisation that purchase the Gift card and presents or distributes to their beneficiaries and such beneficiaries details are to be held by them.
** The organisation should adhere to the KYC (Know Your Customer) guidelines of RBI, issued from time to time.
** In case the organisation is a corporate entity, it should be listed in any of the stock exchanges in India.

ATM:
Automated Teller Machine of Andhra Bank can be used for balance enquiry or any other services that may be introduced from time to time.

Balance Enquiry:
The Gift cardholder can verify the balance outstanding in any of Andhra Bank Branch or by enquiring at 24×7 Toll free IVR Phone Number 1800 425 4059 or in the Internet Customer Self care Portal system provided in Andhra Bank Website.

Cardholder(s) shall mean such individuals to whom the Gift Card has been issued. The cardholder may be the applicant or the beneficiary, whose signature appears on the signature panel on the backside of the Gift card, and is authorized to hold and use the Card. The Cardholder must sign on signature panel present on the back of the card before its use.

Card Activation:
The card can be activated by the Branch at the request of the applicant/beneficiary. OR After taking delivery of card, the cardholder to use 4 digit Personal Access Code provided by the purchaser in the Application, for activation in the Internet Customer self care portal system provided in Andhra Bank website, OR by calling 24×7 Toll free IVR phone number. In case of any difficulty, the cardholder can contact our customer care officer during office hours at Phone No-040 2468 3222

Customer Self Care Portal:
The customer is facilitated with Self operating portal system, by logging in at onlineprepaidcards.andhrabank.in/ABcustomer/html/ by using 16 digit Card number, Personal Access code or CVC printed on the backside of the card. The available facilities are Balance enquiry, transaction details, Change/Unblock PIN, Temporary locking/Unlocking of Account, Transaction dispute lodging, PIN request etc.,

Gift Card:
The Gift Cards are issued for a minimum amount of `.250/- and a maximum amount of upto `.50,000/-. It is a Prepaid card issued by Andhra Bank to its customers and Non customers, on submitting details in the prescribed application, along with the required documents for the requested amount. The amount on realization is loaded with money value in the Gift Card and such stored value facilitates for purchase of goods and services at the available channels only.

IVR:
It is an automated Interactive Voice Response system, facilitated to get quick access of the card account and to make enquiry on balance outstanding, latest transaction details, temporary locking/unlocking, PIN Change, Unblock PIN, blocking of card etc., It can be accessed through 24X7 Toll free number No: 1800 425 4059.

Lost / Stolen Card (s):
In case the card is lost / stolen/misplaced, the cardholder to report the Bank by calling up 24×7 Helpline Toll Free No. 1800 425 4059 or at 040-24683222 (during office hours), to block the card account. It can also be intimated through e-mail: prepaidcards@andhrabank.co.in or ccdhelpdesk@andhrabank.co.in The Gift cardholder can block the card account in the Internet under Customer self care portal system onlineprepaidcards.andhrabank.in

Replacement of Card:
The replacement of card would be issued only on request of the cardholder. After ascertaining the genuineness of card details like card number, name of the applicant, last transactions performed etc., the card is Hot-listed / de-activated. Subsequently, a replacement card can be collected from any of Andhra Bank Branch or if the cardholder requests, the replaced card would be sent to their mailing address provided in the application while applying for Gift card.

The actual courier/Postal charges are applicable and shall be recovered from the Gift card account. The Applicant/ Card holder is held responsible for all financial loss, if any, till the cardholder reports to Bank and append the lost tag in the Bank records. The charges are applicable for Hot listing and for issuance of replacement card.

Merchant Establishment:
Establishments owned by Merchants located in India which honour a Master Card and shall include among others, stores, shops, restaurants, hotels etc.,

Personal Access Code (PAC):
While applying for Gift card, the applicant has to mention Four digit code Number in the application and the same is to be collected by the beneficiary of Gift card. This Four digit PAC is essential for activation of Gift card.

In case the Personal Access code is not informed by the purchaser of Gift card, the beneficiary can log in with 16 digit card number and CVC Code printed on the rear side of the card. The Personal Access code can be changed through IVR or in the Internet Customer care portal.

PIN means (Personal Identity Number):

All POS (Merchant) transactions are to be authenticated with the four-digit PIN number, provided in the Welcome kit. The PIN should be safeguarded carefully and can be changed in IVR or in the Internet customer care portal. Usage of wrong PIN three times would invalidate the card and shall be auto-activated on the next day. In case of loss of PIN or not able to recall the PIN, a new PIN shall be provided at cost.

POS Terminal means the point of sale (POS) electronic terminals placed at Merchant establishments in India, capable of processing card transactions and through which, the Cardholder can use the Gift Card to access funds from their Card Account held with Andhra Bank. POS transactions require Four digit PIN. PIN based POS Transactions are subject to the terminal having a built in PIN pad and enabled to read the service code. In case of non availability of such facility, the transactions would be authenticated based under signature based.

Statement means the statement of detailed card transactions performed with the Card, by the Card-Member, as on date which can be viewed in Andhra Bank website by using their login ID and password under Prepaid card self care portal system. Upon request, the Printout statement shall be sent to the cardholder’s mailing address at a cost as prescribed by the Bank from time to time.

Temporary Locking / Unlocking of card:
The cardholder can opt for temporarily lock /unlocking the card account in order to prevent misuse of the card. The temporary locking can be made by contacting the customer care or by logging in customer self care portal system. The same procedure is to be used for unlocking also. This facility is provided at a cost.

Transactions include balance enquiry at Branch or over Internet or IVR (Interactive Voice Response). The instructions given by the cardholder may be in the nature of financial or Non-financial using the card directly or indirectly with Andhra Bank to effect a transaction.

Validity of Card:
The card is valid for 1 (One) year from the date of issuance, irrespective of validity period printed on the face of the card or after exhausting the balance amount, which ever is earlier. The card is Valid till last day of the month. The card is valid only in India and not valid for cash withdrawals. The card is not reloadable
