Issue of Anglo Indian Community Certificates:

1.The Managing Director, A.P.State Christian (Minority) Finance Corporation, in the reference 3rd read above has sent a proposal along with guidelines for issue of Anglo-Indian Community Certificate and informed that based on the discussions with the community elders, a proforma application has been devised.

He has also stated that certain authorized Anglo-Indian Community Associations only can authenticate the genuineness of the claims based on the father/grand father’s lineage and /or the family name.

2. Government, after careful examination of the matter, have accepted the proposal of the Managing Director, A.P.State Christian (Minorities) Finance Corporation, Hyderabad and hereby prescribe the proforma application (Annexure I) and proforma certificate (Annexure II) for issue of Anglo Indian Community Certificate.

3. It is made mandatory that the applicant must submit the following documents along with his/her application for grant of certificate.

a) Certificate issued by any one of the following four authorized Anglo- Indian Association, duly stating that either the applicant or his parent/grand parent is a member of the Anglo-Indian Community.  The certificate must carry the name of the person issuing the certificate, serial number of the certificate and date of the certificate

(1) Anglo Indian Welfare Association:
Flat No. 03, Vinulla Apartments,
Vijayapuri, Lallaguda,
Secunderabad – 500 017

(2) Visakha Forum Of Anglo Indian Women, Andhra Pradesh:
C/o Sir Henry Sidney Committee Hall,
Soldierpet,
Visakhapatnam – 530001

(3) National Federation Of Anglo Indian Association:
C/o Sir Henry Sidney Committee Hall,
Pezzonipet,
Vijayawada
(President :CARL EVANS)

(4) All India Anglo Indian Association:
C/o Box office, Marredpally Gardens,
Secunderabad – 500 003
(President Mr. Warren La’touche)

The certificate issued by any one of the above Associations must be counter signed by the nominated MLA. from the Anglo Indian Community in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

b) Any one of the following Institutional Certificates issued by appropriate authority :
(i) Baptism Certificate/Marriage Certificate of the applicant or his parent/grant parent issued by only mainline Churches mentioned below where it is mentioned that the person belongs to Anglo Indian Community.

a) Roman Catholic Mission (RCM)
b) Church of South India (CSI)
c) Lutheran Church (ALC)
d) Salvation Army
e) Methodist Church
f) Mennonite Brethren
g) Seventh Day Adventist
h) Baptist Church

(ii) School Record of the applicant or his parent/grand parent where in it is mentioned that either the applicant or his parent/grand parent is Anglo Indian.
(iii) Copy of the Service Register of the parent/grand parent where in it is mentioned that applicant is Anglo Indian

4. The Tahsildar shall verify the documents submitted along with the application and after conducting field enquiry he/she may issue the Anglo-Indian Community Certificate to the applicant who resides under his jurisdiction. TheAnglo-Indian Community Certificate must contain the name of the Tahsildar with his Employee Code, Office seal and date legibly written/stamped on the Certificate.

5. The Spl. Chief Secretary & Chief Commissioner of Land Administration A.P.Hyderabad /all Collectors may issue further necessary instructions to the Revenue authorities in the State to hence forth issue Anglo-Indian Community Certificates to the deserving applicants after due verification.
