How To Register For UPSRTC Smart Card?

Radio Frequency Identifier based smart card bus pass system is a user friendly and more reliable. The smart card will have relevant information about the commuter.

The Bus Passes are in form of RFID based Smart Card, which, is a plastic card resembling to Debit/Credit Cards of Banks with a built in electronic chip that stores information of validity period of the bus pass, the destinations of travel permitted on the pass, and type of pass. Conductors working inside the buses validate these bus passes with the help of ETIM. These RFID Cards are contact less cards and can be validated by Bus Conductors, Inspectors by simply holding these Smart Cards close to the ETIM. The screen on ETIM displays the validity period of the pass, the permitted origin and destinations for travel on bus pass. Passenger can register / renew these Smart Cards at any of the convenient Point Of Sale (PoS) located at various important Bus Stands in the City.

Using this option registered user can process ticket cancellation, check refund status, print e-tickets etc.

Note : User need to login with registered username and password to process following functions

Complaints :
Using this option user can file an complaint, check status of existing complaints.

Bus enquiry :
Using this option passenger can check available bus service, fare, seat availability for specific bus. User can process guest user booking by clicking on Book now button.

The Passenger has to enter stop names into “leaving from” and “going to” fields and select journey date and bus type. When user clicks on the search button a list of available bus services is displayed with details as shown in following screen.

Here using “Previous”, “Next” button passenger can change the date and check the status of next/previous day bus services.

Sign In :
Existing user can login system using valid username and password. Incase if user forgets the password, he can retrieve his password using “Forgot Password” option.

Additional Simplified Procedure

Here are the steps on how to register a UPSRTC Smart Card online:
1. Go to the UPSRTC Smart Card website: https://www.onlineupsrtc.co.in/.
2. Click on the “Register Smart Card” link.
3. Fill out the registration form.
** Enter your name, date of birth, gender, email address, and contact number.
** Select your state and district.
** Enter your Aadhaar number or PAN number.
** Upload a scanned copy of your Aadhaar card or PAN card.
4. Click on the “Submit” button.

You will receive an email confirmation with your registration number. You will need this number to track the status of your application. The status of your application will be updated on the UPSRTC Smart Card website. Once your application is approved, you will be able to download your smart card.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when registering a UPSRTC Smart Card online:
** You must have a valid Aadhaar card or PAN number to register for a UPSRTC Smart Card.
** The scanned copy of your Aadhaar card or PAN card must be clear and legible.
** You must enter your contact number correctly, as this will be used to send you updates about your application.
