FAQ On FIR

1. I have not received an e-mail confirmation even though I have submitted my report.
** You may have accidentally provided a wrong e-mail address or your e-mail inbox is full.

** You may also contact the SCRB, Rajasthan Police, Rajasthan at 0141-2300597 to check your report.

2. How a ‘LOST ARTICLE REPORT’ can be verified?
Any person can verify the ‘LOST ARTICLE REPORT’ by filling LR No. and the registered mobile number or email address in the search link of the application on the Rajasthan Police website

3. I am a foreigner. Can I lodge a ‘LOST ARTICLE REPORT’ online?
You can lodge a police report through this application if you have lost or misplaced any article/document in Rajasthan.

4. Is any investigation/enquiry done by police after lodging of a complaint?
This is only information to police. The Police will not investigate or make any enquiries on the information lodged in this Application but will only keep a record of it for future reference by any person or agency.

5. What are the mandatory fields in the form?
Except the fields of Aadhar No., Bhamashah No., Day (DD) and time (HH- MM), all other fields are mandatory.

6. How I can get a copy of my LOST ARTICLE REPORT?
You have to take the following steps to get a soft copy of your LOST ARTICLE REPORT :
** Click on retrieve button.
** Enter the LR No. of the Report to be downloaded.
** Enter the registered e-mail id or mobile No.
** Click Search button.
** The copy of your LOST ARTICLE REPORT will appear on the screen.

7. How I can report loss of more than one item?
You have to click on the (+) button in front of the first Lost article to add additional lost items.

About Us :
With the advent of independence in August 1947, the 563 princely States of India were gradually integrated into different administrative homogeneous units. The State of Rajasthan, in its present form came into being in different stages.

The Matsya union comprising Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur and Karauli were the first to be ushered in on March 18, 1948. They were joined a week later by Banswara, Bundi, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kishangarh, Kushalgarh, Kota, Pratapgarh, Shahpura, Tonk and Udaipur.

Exactly a year later, the four larger States viz. Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Jaisalmer also joined in. Together they formed the Greater Rajasthan, which was inaugurated by Home Minister of India Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel on 31st March, 1949.

Functions of Rajasthan Police

To check the status of your Rajasthan FIR online, you can follow these steps:
1) Go to the Rajasthan Police website: https://www.police.rajasthan.gov.in/.
2) Click on the “FIR e-Status” link.
3) Enter your FIR number.
4) Enter your mobile number or Aadhaar number.
5) Click on the “Submit” button.

You will then be able to see the status of your FIR. The status of your FIR may be one of the following:
** Pending: Your FIR is still pending and has not yet been investigated.
** Investigating: Your FIR is being investigated by the police.
** Closed: Your FIR has been closed and no further action will be taken.

If your FIR is pending, you can check the status of your FIR again after a few days. If your FIR is investigating, you can contact the police station where your FIR was filed for more information.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when checking the status of your Rajasthan FIR online:
** You must use the FIR number that was provided to you when you filed your FIR.
** If you do not know your FIR number, you can contact the police station where your FIR was filed.
** The status of your FIR may take a few days to update online.
