How To Login?

The applicant has two options to access the pension pages. Either by giving the Application Number or by entering the first 3 letters of the name of the applicant, Department and the Date of Retirement.

In the first option the applicant has to enter the Application Number. and click on the login button.Every proposal received in this office is allotted an Application Number which will be communicated to the Pensioner. If you know the Application Number. Please click on ‘I know Application Number.’ . The next screen will prompt you to type the Application Number. The status of your Pension/Family Pension proposal will be displayed on typing the Application Number. and clicking on the Login button. The screen will appear as below.

In case you do not know the Application Number, you can locate your case by clicking on ‘I do not know Application Number.’. The next screen will prompt you to enter the first three letters of your name, select your Department and type/select the Date of Retirement. All records matching the three details that you have entered will be displayed showing Application Number, Name and Forwarding Office. You can select your case by clicking on the Application Number. The status of your Pension/Family Pension proposal will be displayed

Details of the Case :
gives you the details of your pension proposal like Name, Date of Birth, Date of Retirement, Forwarding Office,Date of Receipt in this Office, Type of Case and PPO No, if allotted. The report will appear as shown below.

Family Pensioner Details :
option is applicable only for death cases. The details of the Family Pensioner to whom Family Pension has been authorised will be displayed.The report will appear as shown below.

DCRG Nomination :
This option also applicable only for death cases.The details of the persons to whom DCRG has been authorised will be displayed

Some Important Information From Comments

Comments:
1. My revised pension proposals were sent from B.D.O. Katpadi on 4th March 2016 to A.G’s Office and it was received at your Office on 10-3-2016. The application number is 10316727. It comes under the Judgement of Hon’ble MADRAS HIGJH COURT Order dated14-11-2014, and the Tamil Nadu Government R.D.Department G.ONo.475 dt 9.9.2015. The above Court Order give only 8 weeks time to get all benefits including revised pension and all other pensionary befits within 2months from the date of issue of Court Order. Please sanction the revised pension proposal sent by the B.D.O. KATPADI. At an early date, because it is under HIGH COURT ORDER. Please inform me the status of my revised PENSION.

2. I am Dr. Premjith Associate Professor (Rtd) St. Judes College ,Thothoor K.K.Dt. I served as Registrar in SSUS, Kerala for 4 years on deputation. AG(A&E)did not issue No claim satisfaction certificate to me. According to them the foreign employer has to be paid penal interest for the belated payment of pension contribution and leave salary contribution to the AG Tamilnadu. The foreign employer is not ready to pay the peal interest leveled against them. Now, I am a victim of two government departments. In this context, kindly give the reply, how can I get pension for the period worked in the University, Kerala.

Functions of Accountant General Tamil Nadu

The Accountant General of Tamil Nadu is the head of the Tamil Nadu Audit Department and is responsible for auditing the accounts of all government departments and public sector undertakings in Tamil Nadu.

1. Go to the website of the Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Tamil Nadu: https://www.agae.tn.nic.in/onlinepension/.
2. Click on the “Pension Application Processing Status” tab.
3. Enter your application number or your government employee name, department, and date of retirement.
4. Click on the “Submit” button.

You will then be able to see the status of your pension application. The status will be one of the following:
** Pending: Your application is still pending.
** Approved: Your application has been approved and your pension will be paid soon.
** Rejected:Your application has been rejected.

If your application is rejected, you will be able to see the reason for rejection. You can also check the pension application processing status by calling the helpline number of the Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Tamil Nadu: 044-25354965.
