Additional Simplified Procedure

The Karnataka Social Welfare Department (SWD) offers a post-matric prize money scheme for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities. The scheme is to encourage and support students from these communities to pursue post-matric education.

To apply for the SW Postmatric Prize Money, you need to follow these steps:
1) Visit the SWD website and click on the “SW Postmatric Prize Money” tab.
2) Click on the “Apply Online” button.
3) You will be taken to a page where you can enter your personal details, such as your name, date of birth, and caste.
4) You will also need to enter the details of your educational institution and your course of study.
5) You will need to upload a scanned copy of your Aadhaar card or any other government-issued ID card.
6) You will need to upload a scanned copy of your latest academic transcript.
7) Click on the “Submit” button to complete the application process.
