Resident UIDAI Order Aadhaar Reprint

Order Aadhaar Reprint is a paid service. If you need to reprint of your Aadhaar Letter post – update or due to loss of original Aadhaar Letter, you may order Aadhaar Reprint by paying a nominal fees of Rs. 50/- (inclusive of GST & speed post charges).

Residents who do not have registered mobile number can also “Order Aadhaar Reprint” using Non-Registered / Alternate Mobile Number.

How to Order Aadhaar Reprint?

Kindly follow the simple steps mentioned below.

Steps :
Step 1 : Visit the official website of UIDAI through provided above.
Step 2 : Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number or 16 digit Virtual ID to begin.
Step 3 : Enter the Security Code [Type the character you see in the picture.]

Step 4 : If you have TOTP, choose option “I have TOTP”” by clicking in check box else Click on “Request OTP” button.
Step 5 : Enter OTP/TOTP received on registered mobile number.

Step 6 : Click on the check box against “Terms and Conditions”. (Note: Click on hyper link to see details).
Step 7 : Click on “Submit” Button to complete OTP/TOTP verification.

Step 8 : On next screen, preview of the Aadhaar details will appear for verification by resident before placing the order for reprint.

Step 9 : Click on “Make payment”. You will be re-directed to Payment Gateway page with payment options as Credit/Debit Card, Net banking and UPI.

Step 10 : After successful payment, receipt will get generated having digital signature which can be downloaded by resident in PDF format. Resident will also get the Service Request Number via SMS.

Step 11 : Resident can track the status of SRN till dispatch of Aadhaar Letter on Check Aadhaar Reprint Request Status
Step 12 : Resident can further track delivery status by visiting DoP website.

Note :
If your Mobile Number is not registered, then Click on check box “If you do not have a registered mobile number, please check in the box”

Validation through OTP :
** One-Time-Password(OTP) will be sent to your Registered Mobile Number with Aadhaar database.
** If you wish to use Time-Based-One-Time-Password (TOTP), please use m-Aadhaar Application.

** If you have not registered a mobile number with Aadhaar, you may order a reprint via Non-registered mobile number.
** Preview of Aadhaar details is not available for Non-registered mobile based Reprint Order.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the following link resident.uidai.gov.in/check-reprint-status
Step 2 : Enter Service Request Number (SRN) 28 digit
Step 3 : Enter Your Aadhaar Number 12 Digit UID (1234/1234/1234)
Step 4 : Captcha Verification [Type the character you see in the picture]
Step 5 : Click on “Check Status” button

FAQs

1. How many days will it take to receive “Order Aadhaar Reprint” after creating successful request?
After receiving order for Order Aadhaar Reprint from the resident UIDAI will handover printed Aadhaar Letter to DoP within 5 working days (excluding the date of request).

Aadhaar Letter will be delivered using SPEED POST Service of Department of Post (DoP) in line with DoP delivery norms and Delivery Status may be tracked using DoP Status Track Services

2. Do we have option to raise an Order Aadhaar Reprint request on different address?
If you want to deliver your “Order Aadhaar Reprint” on different address, first you have to update your Aadhaar details by visiting nearest Enrollment center or Online update through SSUP portal.

3. Which modes are available to make the payment?
You can use following payment modes to make the payment for “Order Aadhaar Reprint”
** Credit Card
** Debit Card
** Net Banking
** UPI

4. What is AWB number?
Airway Bill Number is the tracking number that is generated by DoP i.e. India Speed Post for the assignment/product that they deliver.

5. What is SRN?
SRN is 28 digits Service Request Number which is generated after raising request for Order Aadhaar Reprint on our website. It will be generated every time whenever the request will be raised regardless whether payment is successful or not.
