MCGM Shops & Establishments Registration

Use this facility in order to apply for Shops and Establishments Registration, Renewal of the Registration, Notification of change, Duplicate Registration Certificate, as well as cancellation of the Registration Certificate.

Where to Apply?

Visit the any of the nearest Citizen Facilitation Center (CFC) established by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. Shortly the Shop and Establishment Registration – Form A, can also be filled online by visiting Citizen portal on www.mcgm.gov.in,

How To Apply For MCGM Shops & Establishment?

Applicant needs to submit the duly completed and signed application form, along with required documents and fees at the CFC.

How the submitted Application is further processed :
As a further process the application is assigned to and processed by Department Head (Sr.Inspector) of SNE at the concerned Ward. After site inspection and approval of the application the Registration Certificate is issued to the applicant.

How to track application processing/ How to check status :
Visit the nearest CFC or use the online facility “Check Status” provided on Citizen Portal in order to keep track of your application. Unique Application No. (also called as Transaction ID) is essential in order to use this facility

Under the Bombay Shops & Establishments Act, 1948 :
** In respect of Shops and Commercial Establishments the employer / Manager should maintain Register of Employment in form ‘H’ (Provided that where the opening and closing hours and period of interval for rest, are ordinarily uniform such Register should be maintained in form ‘J’)
** In respect of Residential Hotel, Restaurant, Eating House, Theatre or other place of public amusement and entertainment employer / Manager
** Register of Leave in form ‘M’
** ‘Leave Book’ in form ‘N’ for each employee
** Register of lime washing etc. in form ‘F’
** Visit Book – 7” x 6” 100 pages

Here are the steps on how to apply for MCGM Shops & Establishment online:
1) Go to the MCGM website: https://maharashtra.gov.in/
2) Click on the “Online Services” tab.
3) Click on the “Shops & Establishment” tab.
4) Click on the “New Registration” tab.
5) Enter your Name, Email ID, and Mobile Number.
6) Enter your Property Address.
7) Enter your Contact Person Details.
8) Click on the “Submit” button.
9) You will be redirected to a page where you can upload the following documents:
** A copy of your Aadhaar card
** A copy of your PAN card
** A copy of your latest passport-size photograph
** A copy of your property documents (e.g., sale deed, lease agreement, etc.)
10) Click on the “Submit” button.
11) Your application will be processed and you will receive a confirmation message.

Here are some additional details about applying for MCGM Shops & Establishment online:
** You can apply for MCGM Shops & Establishment online if you are a resident of Mumbai.
** You can apply for MCGM Shops & Establishment online or offline.
** The online application process is available through the MCGM website.
** The offline application process is available at any MCGM customer service center.
** Your application will be processed within 15 days from the date of receipt of your application form and documents.
** You will receive a hard copy of your MCGM Shops & Establishment registration certificate by post within 30 days from the date of processing of your application.

RECORDS ARE NOT FOUND OR PLEASE VISIT THE CONCERNED WARD THIS REMARK DISPLAYED .PLEASE GUIDE ME WHAT IS THE PROBLEM.
