About the Course
We invite you to attend this training program on Satellite Photogrammetry and its applications The course will focus on concepts and techniques to process and analyse stereo data from space borne sensors The course is scheduled from June 29 July 03 2020.
Course Contents
This short course will introduce the participants to
** Photogrammetric Concepts
** Satellite Photogrammetry
** Basics of GPS
** DEM and its derivatives
** Orthoimage generation
Upon completion the participants are expected to be able to-
** Apply the basic principles of photogrammetry to a range of remotely sensed datasets
** Generate and evaluate elevation data products (DEM etc derived from satellite stereo image pairs and assess their use for a range of applications,
** Prepare ortho-images, assess the quality of the output and use it for mapping applications
Target Participants
** The course is designed for professionals from Central State Govt Private Organizations NGO/ students researchers engaged in disaster management related activities.
** The course participants have to be duly sponsored by their university/ institution and application should be forwarded through coordinators from respective Organisations/ Centres Users attending programmes under CEC UGC/ CIET/ other networks can also participate.
** Institutions on high speed National Knowledge Network can also participate.

There is no course fee for attending this programme.
