How To Register in Karnataka Employment Exchange?

The applicants are required to produce the following documents for registration purpose:

Employment Market Information

The Employment Exchanges provide valuable information needed for manpower planning through implementation of Employment Market Information programme

This programme covers the organised sector of the economy, which includes :
** All establishments in Public Sector
** Non-agricultural establishments in private sector employing 25 persons or more.

Employment Exchanges (Compulsory Notification Of Vacancies) Act, 1959 :
This Act seeks to give a statutory base for effective implementation of Employment Market Information Programme. As per the provisions
of this Act, it is mandatory for employers in the organized sector to,
** Notify certain categories of vacancies and
** Render statutory returns (ER-I & ER-II) to the jurisdictional Employment Exchanges.

Identity Card :
Instructions To The Applicants :
** Renewal of registration can be done by submitting the registration card in person or through post by double post card every three years. If the reply is not receive d within 10 days, contactthe Employment Exchange without fail.
** The grace period is two months from the date marked for renewal.
** The registration of an applicant temporarily appointed through Employment Exchange will berestored in case his service is terminated by the employer & if the fact is reported within 90 days of the occurrence of the event.
** If there is a change in address or acquired higher qualification / experience / category etc., contact the Employment Exchange along with the documents.
