All India Agricultural Students Association Membership for both current and associate members.

Membership Categories

Current Membership

All the Agricultural students studying at the level of Agricultural Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma, Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Doctor of Philosophy /Post Doctorate in the Agricultural & Allied disciplines in Agricultural, Horticultural, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary, Dairy & Fisheries Universities and other Universities having Agricultural & allied disciplines/Deemed Universities/Central Agriculture Universities and their Colleges, Institutions throughout India, are eligible for enrolment as “ Current Member”.The membership is for lifetime.

Appeal&Re-Admission of the Members:
Every such expelled member shall have a right to appeal before the General Body which may or may not be accepted.

Rights and Privileges of Membership:
Members of the Association shall have the following rights and privileges:
** Right to elect members of Executive Committee.
** Members can move for requisitioning extra-ordinary General Body meeting provided the request come from at least 1/3 of the total membership.
** Members can approach Executive Committee for redressal of their grievances.
** Right to express his/her views to the office-bearers/members of the Executive Committee/General Body.
** The founder members will have advisory role in the association and shall be consulted on important policy issues and in amending the constitution of the Association.

Associate Membership

The association provideAssociate Membership to all Agricultural Professionals/Agriculture Societies/ Industries/Individuals but they don’t have any voting right to select the governing body of AIASA. They have the advisory function at central, state, and university as well as college level. The membership is for lifetime.

About AIASA:
AIASA is a professional organization of present and former students in the field of Agriculture, Veterinary, Dairy, Horticulture, Fisheries, Forestry, Home Science, Sericulture, ABM and other allied sciences, registered under Societies Registration Act 1860.

The Association was formally launched on 10th May, 2011 by the then Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Agriculture during the All India Convention on Agricultural Administrative Reforms and the website was launched by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture on the occasion of 87th ICAR Foundation Day on 25th-26th July, 2015 at Patna, Bihar.

The Society was registered on 1st Dec. 2011 under the Societies Registration Act 1860, with the approval of Ministry of Agriculture, ICAR and Ministry of Consumer Affairs by having all India jurisdiction.
