Steps for payment of water charge through online payment using Kerala Water Authority KWA website

Step 1 :
Click the link “Create new account” for registering.

Step 2 :
Give the details and security keyword as directed and click the button “Create Account”. The registration details can be got from the bill as shown in the next page. “Consumer ID” “Consumer Number”

Step 3 : After successful submission, following mess age will be displayed. To login, click on the link “here”.

Step 4 : Enter the Consumer ID and the password to log in.

Step 5 : Name, Address, Bill No, bill date, bill amount will be displayed and then click the “Proceed” button.

Step 6 : After clicking “Proceed”, the page will be forwarded to the BillDesk site where the consumer has to opt the payment option and furnish the details as required to make the payment.

Step 7 : An output containing the Name, Address and payment details will be generated. This output can be printed out or saved for future references.

Step 8 : After successfully completing the payment, the consumer can go back to the home page using the “Back to home page” link or log out using the “Log Out” link.

1. There are water leakage in several places near Aluva. Can we get any mobile/phone number to report the leakage and to register a complaint? It was known that now, KWA is not undertaking the repair work. It is being undertaken by contractors. Can the KWA display in their website (to be made public) the mobile numbers of such contractors with the area of their operation?

Error / Problem:
1. This is a useless service just to fool people. One cannot view the old bill nor the ledger. Now the meter reader is not giving the bill to the consumer and I am getting a message to pay a very huge amount not digestible. I have not received the bills for the past 6 months. I got my last bill in March and I had paid the advance amount since the online payment is very tricky and they do not accept online payment of SBI. Now I am not able to see the bills due for May and July.

2. My request is to incorporate bill payment icon. We are facing lot of technical problem, when we try to pay electricity bill and water tax online. It can be more user friendly. Kindly carry on the changes in your website. So that people can use it.

3. Making payment for electricity bill is easy, with out logging in, we can pay the electricity bill. There is an option called “Quick pay”, we just have to type our consumer number and bill number. Even water authority should introduce the same payment mode.

4. My connection is at Trivandrum. I used to pay bills by net banking. It is not working now. I tried for new registration, but my Consignment number shows as AZ/13022/D in my bill and while registering, it shows as enter valid consumer number.
