Individual Irrigation Borewells

Individual Irrigation borewells, pump sets along with electrification facility will be provided to the individual small and marginal farmers owning minimum of two acres land among the Madiga and its related communities. It is targeted for income generating agricultural activities.

Unit Cost:
** Between Rs.3 Lakhs – Rs.4 Lakhs
** Term loan up to Rs.50,000 with 6 % simple rate of interest
** Same is to be repaid by 16 half-yearly instalments

Lift Irrigation Scheme

This Scheme is implemented for generating agricultural income for the small and marginal farmers owning minimum of two acres land among Madiga and its related communities. Lift Irrigation facility is to supply water from the Running river, Natural lakes or wells for small and marginal farmers agricultural activities.

Unit Cost:
** Between Rs.4 Lakhs – Rs.6 Lakhs.
** Term loan up to Rs.50,000 with 6 % simple rate of interest.
** Same has to be repaid by 16 half-yearly instalments.

Features

** The beneficiary must have at least 2.00 acres of land.
** Pumpsets along electrification will be provided
** Term loan up to Rs. 0.50 Lakhs
** Repayment at 16 Half Yearly installments at a simple interest rate of 6%.

Common Eligibility

** Applicant Must belong to Madiga and its related community and a resident of Karnataka state
** Applicant shall be in the age group of 18 to 60 years.
** No member of the applicant’s family shall be in employment in any Govt./Semi Govt. de-partment/organization

Conditions

** Applicants Should be selected by the Selection Committee.
** Shouldn’t be a defaulter of any banks.
** Annual income of the applicant’s family shall be within the limit of Rs.1.50 lakhs in case of rural areas and Rs. 2.00 lakhs in case of urban areas.
** Application will be rejected, if he/she found to be ineligible during the process of selection.
