Beauty and Wellness

** This Scheme is focused for the economical empowerment of unemployed females of Madiga and its related communities. Financial assistance are given for setting up of beauty salon /wellness centres in urban as-well as rural areas.
** Subsidies are provided up to Rs.10 Lakhs for setting up beauty salon / wellness centres in urban as-well as rural areas along with technical assistance will also be provided for both,
** obtaining the franchise/dealership from successful brand
** Training on business management for running a successful shop.

Micro Credit Scheme

** Financial assistance will be provided to the women members of the Self Help Groups(SHG) for taking up small business activities.
** Each women member will be given Rs.25000/- through their SHG. This assistance includes subsidy of Rs.10000/- and loan of Rs.15000/-. Loan carries interest at 4% p.a. Loan and interest is repayable in 3 years in monthly/quarterly instalments. Minimum of 10 females must be in the group.
** Economical activities must be done in a joint account.
** Profit should be shared equally among the members of the group.

Eligibility

Beauty and Wellness

** Applicant should belong to Madiga or its related community and a resident of Karnataka state
** Applicant shall be in the age group of 18 to 60 years.
** Annual income of the applicant’s family shall be within the limit of Rs.1.50 lakhs in case of rural areas and Rs. 2.00 lakhs in case of urban areas.

Micro Credit Scheme

** Applicant should belong to Madiga or its related community and a resident of Karnataka state.
** Applicant shall be in the age group of 18 to 60 years.
** Annual income of the applicant’s family shall be within the limit of Rs.1.50 lakhs in case of rural areas and Rs. 2.00 lakhs in case of urban areas.
** Applicant must be a member of Self Help Group.
** Applicant must have minimum of 200 sqft shop space. (Own/Lease/Rent)
** Application will be rejected, if he/she found to be ineligible during the process of selection.

Conditions for Beauty and Wellness:
** Applicant should be passed through the eligibility test conducted by the brands defined by the corporation.
** Selected beneficiaries should give a written commitment to undergo the training programs provided by the Brands.
** Application will be rejected, if she found to be ineligible during the process of selection.
