The Central Government and State Governments implement a number of schemes for the welfare & development of STs. However, VOs/NGOs also play an important role in enhancing the reach of Government Schemes and in filling the critical gaps of service deficient tribal areas.

While governmental efforts are supplemented through VOs/NGOs to achieve the ultimate objective of delivery of services to remote and unreached tribal areas, the standard of services provided is equally important. Each partner VO/NGO is, therefore, expected to strive towards delivery of quality services.

NGO Online Application enables the District administration as well as State and Central Government to process and recommend proposals received from NGOs and at the same time generate Sanctions, monitor status and utilization of funds by sponsored NGOs.

Ministry achieves transparency in funding and monitoring of NGO functioning under MoTA through the online Grant system. It also allows the NGOs to fulfill the requisite application procedures, track the status of their applications, submit completion certificates as well as register grievance if any.

How To Register?

Step-1: Go to the link https://ngo.tribal.gov.in/ngo-login
Step-2 : Click on the “Register NGO” link

Step-3 : Read the instructions and Proceed

Step-4 : Enter Unique ID. (eg. UP/2016/0103002, obtained from NGO-Darpan Portal)
Step-5 : Enter PAN Number. (PAN Number of NGO registered at NGO-Darpan Portal)
Step-6 : Enter the Verification Code and Submit

How To Login?

Step-1: Go to the link https://ngo.tribal.gov.in/ngo-login
Step-2 : Enter your Login ID
Step-3 : Enter your password
Step-4 : Click on “Login” button

Note:
** Registration on this portal needs to be done only once.
** The NGO(s) who had registered earlier on this portal need not register again.
** NGO(s) who have registered multiple times and are having multiple login/userid accounts, barring one login/userid account all other login/userid account(s) will be deactivated.

Important Instructions For NGOs

** Prior to Registration on NGO Online Portal of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs https://ngo.tribal.gov.in/ngo-login , it is mandatory for every NGO to register first at NGO-DARPAN portal of NITI Aayog https://ngodarpan.gov.in and to get NGO Unique ID.
** During registration, NGO have to submit NGO Unique ID and few other details. Take care of all input fields marked with * which are mandatory to fill and follow the instructions.
** Registration on this portal needs to be done only once. The NGO(s) who had registered earlier on this portal need not to register again.
** For updating any NGO registration details in NGO Online Portal, it is to be updated first at NGO Darpan.

FAQs For NGOs/VOs

Q.1. I Have Forgotten My Password For NGO Application. How Can I Retrieve or Re-Set My Password?
A. 1. NGO can use Forgot Password option provided on the homepage.
An OTP will be sent to the NGO’s mobile no. Using this OTP, NGO can re-set the password.

Q2. I Have Changed My Mobile No., How To Update It?
A2. Please login into your account and go to “MyAccount” then “Edit Profile” after that you can update your mobile number and email id and click “Update”.

Q3. When We Are Trying To Register It Says Already Registered, How To Handle Such Situation?
A3. Please email us your Unique id and name of the organisation, we will help you in recovering your id and password.

Q4. We Are Unable To Login And We Know That User id And Password Is Correct?
A4. Please email us your unique id and name of NGO, please also check if your NGO is verified or not. If not, then get it verified in NGO Darpan. Also, please do check your use rid and password if its correct or not.

Q5. Our Bank Branch Is Not On The List?
A5. As per scheme guidelines we give grant only in nationalised bank account. If your nationalised bank branch is not there then,
please email the scanned copy of your bank pass book of nationalised bank account.

Q6. We Have Multiple Projects In Different states And District, Do We Need Separate User Ids For That?
A6.You can fill multiple forms separately for all the projects running under same organisation for which you have the NGO Darpan’s Unique id

Q7. Do We Need To Register Every Year?
A7. No, you just must register once.

Q8. What All Projects I Can Apply For?
A8. Please refer scheme guidelines for that.

Q9. Can We Apply For Skill Related Projects?
A9 Ministry has discontinued sanctioning Skill related projects.

Q.10.Where Do We Send The Documents?
A.10. NGO is supposed to upload the documents in online form only. No need to send the documents anywhere unless asked by Ministry

Q11.It Gives Error While I Try To Register?
A11. Please check and remove all the special characters from the details that you have filled and try again.
