Online Building Plan :

** The Planners who did not provide the complete information to become the Approved Planners of AMC for submission of online building plan and already signed the agreement are requested to provide all necessary information as early as possible to avoid the omission of their names from the list of approve planners of AMC fron web application.

** All the Planners/Citizens are requested to submit the computerized porcha/Khatian taken with in one month with the online application of building plan approval.

Building Permissions :
Agartala Municipal council ensures planned expansion of the city. A dedicated wing is engaged in each zonal offices headed by the Zonal Officers and duly assisted by Assistant Survey Officer, Surveyors & Amins.

They are responsible for granting building & housing permissions, give layout plan approvals, Issue occupancy certificates, Issue certified copies of approved plans, Issue licenses to technical persons, Check unauthorized encroachments on roads and footpaths. Building Permission forms are available in Zonal Offices at the cost of Rs.10/- only

About Us :
The Capital Agartala (new) was founded in 1838 AD by Maharaja Krishna Kishore Manikya (1830-49 AD). The Agartala Municipality was instituted in 1871 AD during the reign of Maharaja Chandra Manikya (1862-96 AD).

The 1st British Political Agent, Mr. A.W.B. Power appointed for hill Tipprah in 1871 AD, was offered the honour of being the Chairman of the Agartala Municipality. The Municipal Administration in Agartala was established in 1874 A.D and the city became a planned city by the then Maharaja Bir Bikra Manikya Bahadur in 1940s.

This erstwhile Princely State Capital of Tripura merged with India on 15th October 1949. The city has become the nerve center of all political, administrative, cultural and commercial activities of the state
