What is KSUWSSB Unroganised Workers One Time Relief?

The Hon’ble Chief Minister has announced a special package for various categories of workers, due to the lockdown declared by the Government to prevent a second wave of Covid-19. Which resulted in the loss of their daily earnings.

Among them, one-time relief of Rs.2000/- each to 11 categories of unorganized workers engaged in the profession of Hamalis, Domestic Workers, Rag Pickers, Tailors, Mechanics, Washer men, Barbers, Gold Smiths, Iron Smiths, Potters, and Kiln Workers will be implemented through Karnataka State Unorganised Workers Social Security Board.

Eligibility Criteria of KSUWSSB Unorganised Workers One Time Relief

The eligibility criteria’s of KSUWSSB RS.2000 Unroganised Workers One Time Relief are as follows:
** Age: 18 to 65 years.
** Only one member of the family is eligible.
** BPL cardholders only.
** Migrant workers engaged in above-said professions are also eligible, provided holding the BPL card issued by the Government of Karnataka)
** Aadhar number linked to bank account is mandatory.
** Applicants valid Mobile Number (Optional).

How To Apply For KSUWSSB Unroganised Workers One Time Relief?

To get the announced relief, eligible beneficiaries belonging to the above said categories have to apply in the Seva Sindhu portal ( https://sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in/Sevasindhu/Kannada?ReturnUrl=%2F ) and after verification, the relief amount of Rs.2000/-each will be directly transferred (DBT) to the Aadhar linked bank account of the respective beneficiaries.

As per Government Order, beneficiaries belonging to Washerman and Barbers professions, who have already received announced one-time relief of Rs.5000/- each during the year 2020, need not apply once again and announced relief amount during the current year will be transferred to their respective bank account as done earlier except who have attained the age of 65 years.

Further, the announced relief will also be released to the registered eligible beneficiaries under Ambedkar Karmika Sahaya Hastha Scheme.

The remaining beneficiaries will have to submit the applications in the Seva Sindhu portal ( https://sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in/Sevasindhu/Kannada?ReturnUrl=%2F ).

Steps:
Application for 11 categories of Unorganized workers to avail Rs.2000/- as one time compensation due to 2nd wave of Covid-19

Step 1: Go to sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in website
Step 2: Click on Application for 11 categories of Unorganized workers to avail Rs.2000/- as one time compensation due to 2nd wave of Covid-19
Step 3: Download Employment Certificate, Read the Instructions and Click on Proceed to apply
Step 4: Fill the Applicant Details with all mandatory fields.
Step 5 : OTP will be sent on mobile number entered in the information. Enter the OTP and Click on Validate to validate the mobile number.
Step 6: Verify the details. If details are correct, select the checkbox (“Yes”)and Enter captha and click on Submit
Step 7 : A fully filled form will be generated for verification and Click on Edit if changes are required.
Step 8 : if changes are not required, Proceed to Click on Attach annexures
Step 9: Attach the annexures and click on save annexures
Step 10 : Saved annexures will be displayed and click on Submit
Step 11 : After Submit is successful, acknowledgement will be generated.
Step 12 : To view the status of the application , go to the sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in and click on Track your application status for covid Relief Fund-2021
Step 13 : Select Your DBT Scheme and Enter your Aadhar Number, click on submit
Step 14 : Status of the Application will be Displayed

Documents Required For KSUWSSB Unroganised Workers Relief

** “Certificate of Employment” issued by the authorities or Employer in the prescribed format.
** BPL Card
** Aadhar card
** Date of birth proof.
** Recent passport size photo.

Application Process For KSUWSSB Unroganised Workers Relief

Method of processing application in Seva-Sindhu portal:
** Applicants should submit their application through Seva-Sindhu Portal along with the above documents.
** After submitting the application a unique identification number will be sent to the applicant’s mobile number.
** Registered applicants can verify the status of the application through the unique identification number sent to them.
** The submitted applications will be forwarded to the concerned authorities for further action/ verification.
** After verification, the relief amount will be transferred through Aadhar based DBT(Direct Benefit Transfer) to the respective bank account of the eligible beneficiaries.

Additional Simplified Procedure

To apply for the KSUWSSB Unorganized Workers One Time Relief, you can follow these steps:
1. Go to the Seva Sindhu portal: https://sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in/
2. Click on the “Apply Now” button under the “Unorganized Workers One Time Relief” service.
3. Enter your mobile number and click on “Send OTP”.
4. Enter the OTP that you receive on your mobile number and click on “Submit”.
5. Fill out the application form with your personal details and bank account information.
6. Upload a copy of your Aadhaar card and a recent passport size photograph.
7. Click on “Submit” to submit your application.

Note:
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a unique identification number (UIN) on your mobile number. You can use this UIN to track the status of your application on the Seva Sindhu portal. The relief amount will be transferred to your bank account through direct benefit transfer (DBT) after your application has been verified.
