How To Apply For Puducherry Encumbrance Certificate?

To Apply For Puducherry Encumbrance Certificate (EC), Follow the below steps.

Steps:
** Go to the online portal to apply online https://regnec.py.gov.in/?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1
** In the given page please select the option “Online Encumbrance Certificate” as provided on the right side of the page under e-services to get login page.
** Here use the create new account option to register and use the credentials to login.
** Once login, user will be provided a page to fill up the required details such as Period, Revenue Village, Ward, Block and Survey No to get the details and go through the screen prompts and applicable option to get acknowledgment slip
** Applicants needs to submit the acknowledgment slip along with the serial no required to be present in their EC Summary to the concerned sub-registrar
** After payment of required fees, EC can be collected from the sub-registrar immediately

** Property address. survey number, document/patta number
** Period for which the EC is required
** Applicable fees
** Copy of sale deed of the said property. (any one deed for the land and not necessary to present the last or latest one)
** Purpose for which the EC is applied for
** Copy of Power of Attorney, in case application is made by the attorney holder
** Aadhar card
** Property card if available

Please pay as per authorities quote. Fees differs with place to place, based on size of the land and for duration for which this certificate is applied for

Validity

This certificate is obtained for the mentioned period. So, it is valid as per the mentioned period on the certificate.
