How To Do KVC Bangalore Veterinary Practitioner Registration?

Registration is a statutory requirement and all those Veterinarians who are engaged in Veterinary Profession in Karnataka are required to register themselves in Karnataka Veterinary Council. Application form of Veterinary Practitioner Registration is available in the KVC Bangalore Downloads section.

Submit following credentials and two attested copies of these in person along with prescribed Fee.
** Form of application for registration – Form VIII
** Original provisional degree certificate and marks card
** Original degree certificate
** Proof of date of birth
** Two passport size and two stamp size photographs

Note:
1. Registered Members are requested to furnish information completely in front page. Need not send documents.
2. Documents are required only in case of Fresh Registrations.
3. Renewal Stickers can be obtained from this office on payment of Rs. 55/- provided Registration is revalidated before due date. Payments may be made through Demand Drafts Payable @ S. B. I, Herbal Branch.

Instructions On KVC Bangalore Veterinary Practitioner Registration

KVC Bangalore Veterinary Practitioner Registration Instructions

** The State Veterinary Practitioner’s Register consists of details of Registered Veterinary Practitioners in the State who have been enrolled as members in pursuance of Indian Veterinary Council Act.1984 and Karnataka Veterinary Council Rules 1998.
** Persons possessing recognized Veterinary qualification and who resides in the State of Karnataka are eligible for Registration.
** Registration is provided for a period of five years in the first instance and is required to be renewed subsequently for every five years.
** Members are required to possess valid Registration certificates by periodical renewals before due date.
** Renewal is permissible before 1st day of April of the year to which it relates.
** Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in Veterinary Science obtained in addition to recognized Veterinary qualification is entitled for entry in Registry.
** Registered Veterinary Practitioner’s are required to communicate any changes in place of residence or practice within 90 days to the Council.
** “No objection Certificate” to be obtained by surrendering the Original Certificate where they have first registered for registrations in another State.
** With written request addressed to the Registrar, a duplicate Certificate can be obtained after satisfactory proof in case of loss or destruction.

How To Renew KVC Bangalore Veterinary Practitioner Registration?

Renewal of KVC Bangalore Veterinary Practitioner Registration is to be done on or before 31st day of March, during the year of expiry. If renewal is not done on or before 31st day of March during the year of expiry, appropriate action will be initiated as per applicable rules.

Indian Veterinary Council Act.1984 (No.52 of 1984), enacted in 1984 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette of India dated 21st August 1984 extends to Karnataka and by adopting the Act, State Government has formulated Karnataka Veterinary Council Rules 1998 to regulate Veterinary practice and to maintain State Veterinary Practitioner’s Register.
