Get International Driving permit :
Step 1 :
Purchase the ‘Renewal of Driving Licence from other State’ File from the R&LA Sale counter
OR
Download this File/requisite Forms from this website as per the Checklist.

Step 2 :
Read the instructions mentioned in the File/Forms carefully.

Step 3 :
Complete and attach all the required Documents/Forms as per the CheckList.

Step 4 :
Submit your complete file & fees at the concerned DL counter at the R&LA office and collect your Fee Receipt.

Step 5 :
Collect your International Driving Permit (IDP) from the DL Distribution counter at the R&LA Office.

Note :
** This is a downloaded File. In order to deposit the same, the applicant has to collect the ‘File receipt’ from the R&LA File Sale Counter after depositing the concerned File Fee.
** Please bring the original documents whose attested photocopies have been attached with the file.

International Driving Licence CheckList :
1. Application form for International Driving Permit.
2. FORM NO. 4A PDF (Application for issue of International Driving Permit to drive a motor vehicle in other countries).
3. FORM NO. 1 & 1-A PDF (Application-cum-Declaration as to physical fitness & Medical Certificate for obtaining Learner’s/ Driving Licence)
4. Copy of valid Indian Passport (Self attested)
6. Copy of valid Driving License (Self attested) (Alongwith confirmation/ genuiness of Driving License from Issuing Authority, in case of other state)
7. Latest Travel Ticket (Confirmed, self attested)
8. Latest passport size photograph (Three copies)
9. Copy of Address proof (If applicable, in case of change of address) (Self attested, for details, “Click Here” ).
10. Affidavit PDF for Address Proof (If applicable).

Note :
Please bring the original documents whose attested photocopies have been attached with the file. In case of other state Driving Licence, confirmation is required from the concerned Issuing Authority.
