How To Do DGFT Complaint Registration?

Register a new complaint :
** To register your complaint click on “COMPLAINT REGISTRATION” option.

** On complaint registration screen Exporter/Importer requires to fill the details like Complaint Name, Mobile , E-Mail ID, select the concerned DGFT Office [For eg. Like 01 for New Delhi (HQ) & 05 for New Delhi (CLA)]. Select the Subject Scope Issue like IEC/Authorization/Shipping bill etc. to which the complaint related. Fill the complaint description field.
** Press “Register” Button. An automated “Complaint Number” will be generated. As shown in the figure below. You may note down the “Complaint Number” for future references.

How To Login To DGFT Complaint Resolution System?

** Go to DGFT websit dgft.gov.in.
** Click on the “Complaint Resolution System” to register the complaint. Following screen will appear.
** Login using your IEC number and password. Password is first 3 letters of party name and Click on “Submit” button.

How To View DGFT Complaint Status?

** To view the status of your complaints click on “VIEW STATUS” option.
** You can view complaint status in the following screen.

Why after logging on the DGFT application either by password or using digital certificate I am not getting any message after Ecom Reference Number is successfully created?
It is a due to JVM (Java Virtual Machine).
(i) At the time of logging into the application .the Download JVM link will appear to download/install JVM

(ii)From the Start >>Control Panel >> Add/Remove Options remove the earlier JVM. Download and install JVM from the URL java.com/en/download/manual.jsp or java-virtual-machine.net/download.html
(iii)After installing it please restart machine and try to run the application.

About DGFT :
Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) organisation is an attached office of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and is headed by Director General of Foreign Trade. Right from its inception till 1991, when liberalization in the economic policies of the Government took place, this organization has been essentially involved in the regulation and promotion of foreign trade through regulation.

What is DGFT Complaint Registration?

Who can register a complaint with DGFT?
Any exporter or importer can register a complaint with DGFT.

What types of complaints can be registered with DGFT?
Any complaint that alleges a violation of the Foreign Trade (Regulation) Act, 1992 can be registered with DGFT. Some common types of complaints include:

What is the process for investigating complaints?
Once a complaint is registered with DGFT, it is assigned to an investigating officer. The investigating officer will gather evidence and interview witnesses to determine whether there is a prima facie case of violation. If the investigating officer finds that there is a prima facie case of violation, they will issue a show-cause notice to the exporter or importer. The exporter or importer will have an opportunity to respond to the show-cause notice.

Additional Simplified Procedure

Here are the steps on how to do DGFT Complaint Registration online:
1) Go to the DGFT website: https://dgft.gov.in/.
2) Click on the “DGFT Services” tab.
3) Select the “Complaint Registration” option.
4) You will need to register yourself as a user.
5) Once you have registered, you will be able to register a complaint.
6) You will need to provide your personal details, such as your name, date of birth, and address.
7) You will also need to upload a scanned copy of your Aadhaar card and a recent passport-size photograph.
8) You will need to provide details of the complaint, such as the date of the complaint, the name of the company you are complaining against, and the details of the violation.
9) Once you have submitted your complaint, you will receive an acknowledgement number.
10) You can track the status of your complaint by logging into the DGFT website and clicking on the “My Complaints” tab.

Here are the documents required for DGFT Complaint Registration:
** Aadhaar card: You need to upload a scanned copy of your Aadhaar card.
** Passport-size photograph: You need to upload a scanned copy of your recent passport-size photograph.
** Proof of export/import: You need to provide proof of export/import, such as a copy of the shipping bill or the airway bill.
** Proof of violation: You need to provide proof of violation, such as a copy of the invoice or the contract.

  1. I need to register a new complaint..
    We are applying for IEC through online. My Ecom No is AB/CF/M73/93K00/0922/8065. On 24/11/2016 we made the online payment through SBI bank, P.N.Palayam Branch, Coimbatore-641037 and Debited Rs.500/= from my Account. In Applictaion Fee the PAYMENT INTIMATION SCREEN Shows “REQUISITE FEE ALREADY PAID”. But, in Very Fee it shows “NO PAYMENTS FOR VERIFICATION EXISTS”.

    I tried to solve this problems through BID number; but I am unable to get the BID number.
    Kindly solve my problem.

  2. Now we have applied for fresh IEC online. We have successfully attached required documents such as photo, pan card & cancelled cheque at the attachment. We submitted the application using digital signature. It is successfully submitted. We received file number as 35/04/130/80522/am17/ & key number as 350013618.
    Submitted date: 2016-07-14
    Iec file was rejected.
    Please rectify this problem. Its very urgent.
