Swachh Bharat Clean India :

Terms of Use :
** The Swachh Bharat Challenge platform (h swachhbharat.mygov.in) is open for use to all members of MyGov ( mygov.in ).

** Swachh Bharat Challenges can be issued by MyGov members to friends and colleagues, who will need to register at MyGov for uploading details of activities undertaken.
** Users are requested to click digital photographs before and after the activities and upload them to the Swachh Bharat Challenge site. Video clips of the activity performed can be uploaded at  youtube.com and the links can be shared at the Swachh Bharat Challenge site.
** Users are requested not to upload any media (photograph images / videos) other than Swachh Bharat Challenge activities.
** Users are responsible for ensuring that all media uploaded on the site conforms to the requirements of the IT Act, 2000 and other related legislations for sharing media in public domain. Users posting offensive content can be proceeded against under the relevant legislations and rules. Media not related to Swachh Bharat, if posted on the site, may be deleted by the administrator without any notice to the User.

Launch of Swachh Bharat Mission by Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi :
On Gandhi Jayanti, we are launching Swachh Bharat Mission, a historic mass movement integrating 125 crore Indians to create a Clean India. Clean India Campaign invites you to pick a location & clean it. Do share the ‘Why Clean India’ (before) & ‘My Clean India’ (after) images. Today I joined the Clean India Campaign at Mandir Marg Police Station in Delhi. #MyCleanIndia

Swachh Bharat Challenges :
Swachh Bharat Challenge is an initiative to share your experiences of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and invite other people to accept the challenge and join hands in the Abhiyan.

You can open up the challenge to a maximum of nine persons and similarly, each of these nine persons can also challenge nine more this way the chain of activities would keep growing.

Take a Pledge :
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi exhorted people to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of Clean India. The ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ is a massive mass movement that seeks to create a Clean India. Cleanliness was very close to Mahatma Gandhi’s heart.

A clean India is the best tribute we can pay to Bapu when we celebrate his 150th birth anniversary in 2019. Mahatma Gandhi devoted his life so that India attains ‘Swarajya’. Now the time has come to devote ourselves towards ‘Swachchhata’ (cleanliness) of our motherland.

Swachh Pledge :
** Mahatma Gandhi dreamt of an India which was not only free but also clean and developed.
** Mahatma Gandhi secured freedom for Mother India.
** Now it is our duty to serve Mother India by keeping the country neat and clean.

** I take this pledge that I will remain committed towards cleanliness and devote time for this.
** I will devote 100 hours per year, that is two hours per week, to voluntarily work for cleanliness.

** I will neither litter not let others litter.
** I will initiate the quest for cleanliness with myself, my family, my locality, my village and my work place.

** I believe that the countries of the world that appear clean are so because their citizens don’t indulge in littering nor do they allow it to happen.
** With this firm belief, I will propagate the message of Swachh Bharat Mission in villages and towns.

** I will encourage 100 other persons to take this pledge which I am taking today.
** I will endeavour to make them devote their 100 hours for cleanliness.
** I am confident that every step I take towards cleanliness will help in making my country clean.
